i wonder if there are girls who are just like me. the not so "typical" one. you normally don't like to spend so much time on fixing my hair and on putting make-up. i can dress up pretty much quickly. i do not my hair to be blown dry after shower. i don't know if vanity is not my thing or i'm just a little bit too lazy. shopping also does not excite me that much. i would normally just buy what i need and don't have the patience to walk for hours roaming around the mall just to find that perfect shoes or dress. sometimes i wonder why am i so deviant from other girls. :p

Hi! There you are, me here :p I don't think brands, clothes and make up are important. Actually I never buy brand cause most of them when making coats uses fur, I don't admire fashion, neither ever bought a fashion magazine, never buy expensive make up. When I was a little girl I was good in soccer, and more for my brother than other reasons I used to play with cars with him and enjoyed! But I had my Barbie. I dress differently and have my own fashion, the last clothe I bought it was 2 years ago and although I think my clothes are all preatty and I love them 100% I feel like I have enough.

Glad to know that there's a number of us here belonging to the same tribe. :) i do buy make-up, it's just that i don't have the patience to use them. Hahaha. When i go out though, i wear my basics. Face Powder and lipstick. That's it! Of course it's a little more special when there's an occassion. I do dress up and i will hire someone to make me pretty ( no matter how expensive the make up is, i just can't learn how to use it). :)

i guess you dont give much attention to your looks because it is secondary to you.or because you are already pretty :) many people who considers work as important do not spend much time trying to look the best.i do dress up on rare occasions but i dont have the patience to do it always.but i do know a lot of woman who i have never seen without makeup and proper grooming.i think they should also be appreciated because a lot of work has gone into it

i guess you are right, it's not much of priority for me as there are other things to spend time on. i also go for what is comfortable. vanity really varies from person to person.

There really is no 'typical girl'. Typical means differently from person to person. I just ask my brother to describe a typical girl and this is what he said, "You know... a girl." So there really is no typical girl. A lot of girls don't also spend too much time prettying their self up. I don't get this stereotype. Majority of the girl in my class spend like maximum of 5 minutes to fix their self because they have other things to do.

I am generally the same way. I love clothes and make up and playing with my hair, but 98% of the time, I just throw something on and go. Maybe it's laziness, maybe I just don't put that much importance on outward appearance. I always make sure I'm clean and don't look a mess or anything, but spending forever dressing up, not my thing. But it is fun to do every once in a while, and for certain occasions.

When I was younger I did spend a lot of time at the hairdressers and in front of the mirror 'dolling up' but that has altered over the years. I like to look 'cared for' nowadays but not 'overdone', whatever that is supposed to be! I have got into a routine now and I usually know what I am going to wear for work or when I go out and unless it is a really special occasion like a wedding, baptism oìr suchlike, then my timein front of the mirror is beru much less than before. I go out to buy clothes knowing beforehand what I hope to find and I am not a window shopper. I usually get it over and done with quite quickly too choosing something 'sensible' rather than 'showy'.
