Hello iklananda, Take care driving late at night. The best thing that you can do is take that car to the nearest car garage and get that area 'patched' over. I am sure they can do that, you don't have to do anything on your own.

It isn't costly but i doubt if it is going to be as good as the real colour. I believe the company showroom can do that patching with the exact colour. It is not going to be expensive anyway. I hope the driver of that car agrees for that instead of going for the complete make over.

I know here in Illinois if we hit a car with our bike we do not have choices as to where the owner wants it fixed. My understanding is that the owner can opt to go where they please so as long as it is reasonable. So try and work somthing out with the owner not to upset the owner too much because some will get the estimate inflated. Be careful because it could have been you who got scratched badly. I know here I had to stop riding my bike outdoors except for the park because traffic is so horrible I have had some near misses and almost got hurt a few times.
