Listening and watching so much of the news can be discouraging. When we hear of such tragedies for me and my family it causes us to really cherish our life and relationships. I try to think about and reflect on how really precious and short and life can be. The daily grind of everyday living can cause to forget about these things. When you see and hear all that others are going through we really have to appreciate what we have and let our friends and family know how we truly value them, living each day to the fullest.

yeah it is correct. we should value our friends and relatives. that`s the first step in cherishing life. yeah its a short and wonderful life. that`s why i keep searching for the ways to cherish it. Festivals are best way to cherish life. and if we want we can change our daily life passionate and there by enjoy the whole life.

I'm glad that you continue to look for ways to cherish your life. I think that this is so important for us to do. As there is always something that can come up and cause us to get discouraged. I know that lately my life has seemed overwhelming with all there is to do and problems that come up. But I still strive to remind myself of the positive aspects of my life and what I have to be thankful for.

It's really not that hard, I appreciate life and all it's wonders everyday. I spend time talking to my daughters everyday, and watching their kids grow, they each have one. I have great friends that would do anything for me, just a call and they would come. I have my health, my hobbies, and a roof over my head. I thing the main thing is, I don't sit and watch the news daily. For one, media loves to blow things out of proportion, and for two, they don't report the whole truth of what is happening. The other thing is......I can not do anything about 'mother nature', I can not control what other people do, I can only have control over my life, my choices, and how I deal with everyday issues.

In the spring, summer and autumn I am having one day out a month with my kids to places that I have wished to visit but haven't yet had the chance to go to. In March we went on a day trip to Exeter. There we looked around the cathedral, walked along the river and did some shopping. In April will be visiting Slim Bridge which is a bird reserve. In the summer I am hopping to go on a long weekend to the Yorkshire coast. I would like to go to Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood Bay. Times are uncertain at the moment and it is worth giving some money to those that have suffered these natural disasters.

Life has always been difficult, but full of mirecles and wonders. Look at a flower, count the petals noticing the miracle of them having the same number if they are the same plants. Look at a baby´s face, talk with a toddler, share a sandwich with someone who is hungry. Hug your children, your friends, all your loved ones. Make a toy with your hands. THERE! I´m an ol´ 65 year witch. I just took out now some of the mouse´s tails from my cauldron to share with you

HI Dan, you know what, I believe that it is not only during calamities, a person do feel all the uncertainties of life, one great example on what I mean are those family living under poverty line issues, in everyday of their lives, they always feel that uncertainties and struggle to live, and for those living in medium class family do also feel uncertainties when calamities strikes and some other related factors like family problems, unemployment and many more.. However, similarities on both for me on how to cherish life in times of uncertainty is as long the one you love or the people whom you loved are together with you in that uncertainty times because in this you gonna feel that you are much blessed even you lost the material things already by having those people around you in giving you the support to move with life and serves as your source of strength and inspiration you gonna need to cherish and move on with life. This uncertainties in life relies on the matter of knowing, understanding, realizing and accepting the situation at hand and looking straight forward with faith in our LORD and thinking optimistically that this is only a trial, a challenge to face and the goal is to survive in that challenge.

You can appreciate life much more if you think about those things ,life threatening situations is not something far fetched that happens somewhere away from you,you can not live in a bubble or your life super organized or super protected and surely you do not need to live a catastrophe like an earthquake to start appreciating life even more.Living and enjoying life is a personal thing ,each and everyone of us live his own life and appreciates it there are no patters, there is no right and wrong.I find the time to enjoy my life sure I enjoy all of it or probably most of it, I am lucky I guess.
