How do you deal with insomnia?

What do you do when you go to bed and suddenly you realize that you can't fall asleep?Get up and do something or try harder?

Hi. mpsolutions. Welcome to myLot! I will put my radio on. I will also place my headphones over my ears so that I can listen to some relaxing music. This will help me to fall asleep faster. I also will, watch TV, until I get sleepy too.

So,you try to do anything to stay awake and you fall asleep.... :)

I turned on the TV set the timer to 30 minutes or more that way I can have a good night sleep.

I wish I knew the answer to this, I have a lot of trouble sleepng and I try various things but I know I don't want to turn to sleeping pills...

I have a disc on the sounds of the sea, very relaxing, kind of boring, it always helps me.

I will usually lay there for hours trying to go to sleep.When I should really get up and read for awhile or something.

if i can't sleep at night i usually make my work out routine, i do my exercise habit then rest a little take a shower then that makes me easier to sleep at night. or maybe drink a glass of milk
