But japan has 3 different set of characters in use, hiragana, kanjii symbol, and other one i donot get its name. When coming to learn japanese language, which one is best to get started with. ? Can anyone suggest best site to learn japanese on net

If you have the passion and time, it's quite easy to learn Japanese. I've been self-studying Japanese since I was in Grade school. And right now, I can already translate, though i'm having a hard time speaking. To get things started, learn Katakana first. Katakana is used for borrowed or "loaned" words. After Katakana, then follows Hiragana. Hiragana is their normal way of writing. I won't suggest you to learn Kanji after that because Kanji is REALLY HARD. You should learn how to write in Kanji when you already know how to speak or at least, understand some of their words. Practice the strokes 100 times until you perfect it. Learning Japanese isn't only limited to their way of writing you know. Learn the language itself first, then start learning their way of writing (just my suggestion..)
