I was thinking to move here from webs to wordpress. But I like to know what are the free features of wordpress for a broke person like me. I already reading the free features but I can't they are providing the bandwidth space on their feature. Are you a wordpress user? What can you say about their features I mean to say free features. Please enlighten me with the feature of wordpress.

Hi there. It depends on what you want to use with it. 1. if you are using wordpress to earn money directly, then you are wrong. There's a T and C about earning money using wordpress website. 2. The features are greta. Better then tumblr and blogger to be honest. 3. i use it by writing a small review (400 words min) on wordpress and put a few backlinks at the bottom to ensure that I have enough backlnk options. 4. if you are talking about using wordpress platform instead of the wordpress website then it is a whole different scenario. Good luck!

you are right nicregi. using wordpress on our own domain is great but using wordpress just for free blogging is the opposite.

Wordpress is what I use. I really like it. They do have some free downloads. I'm not sure how much is free. Some of the stuff I was able to get came with my freesite package. They also have FAQ sections that are helpful for teaching you how to do certain things.

worpress is the best place to start for some one that is just getting into bloging, though they have a limited control system its still better than anyone else. though i dont use wordpress.org because i have self hosted sites i do use the wordpress platform which is mostly the same but you have a bit more control over everything on your site. your just starting out so get a wordpress blog no point wasting money then not making money off your site.

Hi syoti20, When I have to choose some years ago a blog platform, I remember I tried blogspot and wordpress. I think blogspot for me was better, because it was very easy to use and there were good templates and modules to build your blog. I tried wordpress but I gave up because it was more complicated but it looks more professional than wordpress if you are very good in making html sites.

Yes, I use a free version of Wordpress for two blogs that I have. I like the way it is structured and there is plenty of help and tips from the site owners there. There are far too many features to describe here, and I wouldn't hesitate to sign up and learn as you go along.. _Derek

WordPress is by far the most superior free website software available. There's a hue community of people making free themes and plugins and offers lots of customisation. It's probably the most versatile too.

I don't really like the feature of wordpress for free users. I used it and compare to blogger. I prefer blogger than wordpress if you used it for free...the problem in blogger is that they are very strict...

I have two Wordpress blogs that are free and find them to be pretty good for something that is free. The only thing that I find frustrating is not being able to upload videos to them unless you have a paid blog. So I add videos on Ning sites that I am a member of and to my Squidoo lenses as well. And YouTube of course!
