My grandparents

I live very far from my grandparents. I only can visit them about once in 2 years.
I remember that when I visited them in 2007, my grandma was still strong. I bought many things for her such as milk, cakes, clothes etc... However, she didn't use them. She keep them to give her grandchildren.
She said that she can't eat food which I bought. She only ate the cakes which bought by my grandfather 
My grandfather cared her very much. He know what my grandma can eat or drink. What kind of clothes which she likes to wear etc...
I think that they love each others very much. I wish I could be alike them when I would be old !

I always try to arrange vocations to visit them every years. I wish they can live a long time in order that I and my siblings can see them more.

You're right. I love my grandparents such as I'm idolized them. But I can't live near them for along time. It's a pity!

How sweet of you to love them so much. Unfortunate that you can't visit more often. My grandmother passed away two weeks ago at the age of 95. It is because of the humble life our grandparents lived that allows them to be as loving and carefree as they are/were.
If only we could be like them. Wow what a difference that would be for so many of us. Enjoy your grandparents!

Absolutely! I can't imagine life without love that is for sure. I would hate to be old and look back to realize that I have not shared amongst the many wonderful people in my life, something as sweet as love.

You are lucky. I haven't seen my grandparents in 10 years. Why? Well, because they live in another country, and I live in the US, I just can't go visit them every time I want to. Flying to Spain, is no cheap thing. I know I should go visit them someday because one day we are here, next day we are gone. I do remember them everyday. I do talk to them on the phone but is not the same. My grandmother loves cakes and clothing. We send her money every time we can, and she always tells us how much she ate with the money we sent her; cookies and cakes.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm really lucky when I can visit my grandparents. I used to be sad before because I can't visit them.
When you have graduated and worked, you can earn money to visit them. If you want to see them, you can save your money now.

Awww that is so sweet. I love how after all these years the love between your grandma and grandpa still remains

My grandma passed away when I was little. Actually I have no memories of her, only one or two but I can remember her face clearly. My grandpa is still here though, kinda sick these days 
. I hope my grandpa has the strength to live long and I think he misses grandma a lot though he never talks about her in front of his grandchildren. I love my grandpa.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma and grandpa. I wish your grandpa will be stronger quickly.
I think your grandpa has missed his wife very much, too. Nobody can change her in his heart, although there are many grandchildren around him.

I grew up with both grandparent around me so I enjoy their loved and cared, when I was little girl, I believed that I am their favorite as relatives and family members told me maybe because I'm their only flower, i gained all their attention - their always 1st priority in everything. Many people said grandparent loves their grandchildren more than their children and I believed that is true. With regards to your wish...plants seeds today and harvest tomorrow.

I agree with you. Grandchildren don't have enough experience to have the huge love as their grandparents.
We can feel their love and to miss them much. And we only wish that we can love our grandchildren in the future as them.

Grandparents are wonderful people, i loved mine soooooo much & still miss them to this day even tho they have been gone a long time.I hope u can have that kind of relationship in your life.

that was cool... and it's sad why you have to live across many miles away from them. my grandparents only live i think 1 hour drive away from where i live and we can visit them anytime, plus in every occasions like birthdays and christmas and new year we are all together the whole family we have a closer intact and bonding. my grandparents are also both alive and strong my grandpa was 70 and my grandma is 69 they both still love each other and very sweet i guess they've overcome all the problems in younger years and they were a very good friends and lovers today

It's great because you can live near your grandparents. I can't. My parents went far from my original hometown to work. I must go with them, so I can't live near my grandparents. Although, I love to live with them.
Your grandma and grandpa are really happy with their love and life. I think that they're a good mirror for us
