Well i just took a bath, a bath for an hour, and in this time i thought about every thing that i've done today, every thing that i am going to do tomorrow, my ex girlfriends , my possible future girlfriend. For me taking a bath is a place where i can go in my world, no more noise, no more music, no voices, just my voice talking to me:). Me meditation spot! What is your best meditation spot, and what do you think at when you're there? Or do you consider that doing this is just useless and we are loosing time when we should do something else with our lives:)

Dear Madmax Let me tell you my ideea about meditation. First it is an activity to relax yourself, then it is everything, meditation can ocure not only in a quite enviornment. You can meditate anywhere anytime...it is a long way to get there but i'l be damned if it does not worth it.

I like to meditate in my bedroom or outside, depending on the weather. But to me, meditation is not about thinking at all; it's not about remembering the past or dreaming of the future. To me, meditation is about finding yourself in the stillness. What you are talking about I'd call that contemplation, then again I know many people would consider them synonymous. Regardless, I think both are equally important. I consider contemplation to be reflecting on thought, while meditation is to reflect on the silence underneath. Anyway, focus on thoughts or the absence, doesn't matter. Just keep putting out positive vibrations.

I did not know that there is a difference. I think it's harder to meditate than to contemplate then...so i contemplated not meditated, ehh every one understands what i meant:)

I have three kids...I have no meditation spot. lol. Well, seriously I really don't. I can't even get a quick shower without one of them coming in to tell on the other one. Or I can hear them screaming and fighting with each other. I used to like taking a long bath though. I think it's good to take some time to be mellow and just reflect on things.

I've practiced meditation before. I found it relaxing. Actually, it IS almost the same as relaxing but in a deeper level. Takes aways all the stress. All you need is a few minutes and a quiet room. Whenever I meditate, I think about a lot of things.
