I am going search those 0 responds that I could give some contributions, may be others may not have any to respond. But I am going just think what responds I could give for 0 respond discussions. There would be some thing to give from my side or may be those discussion would be not understandable. Anyhow at least there would some discussion for which something I could give. Moreover I feel that 99% people including me put discussions to get responds may be at lest one.

Thats so touching one!True, not all mylotters here post their discussions with imaginative questions. They share many sensitive and personal pains. So a response to that is like taking share in their pain or happiness. I felt same way when you responded for my sisters IUI treatment. I believe i initially shared the pain of her, later the positive response from you got me hope and then it was great sharing my happiness. So I would say, thats a great one of responding to discussions that have zero response

You have no idea how excited I have sensed a member got after I responded to a discussion which had no responses for weeks at a time. I have had members come back after the first comment and thank me kindly because the discussion was of true interest. I got this idea when I first started on here when I opened a discussion and down below it I saw one where a male member was explaining how he was "trapped" in the closet while being married. It was 3 year old discussion and no one absolutely no one applied a response. The member explained how sad he was because he did not want to hurt his wife. That got me to think wow, that was the members first activity here, poured his heart out and no one responded. I responded to that discussion and never received a comment, being 3 years old and only a (1) point I can imagine he never returned and I did see his profile was gone, so sad. Nonetheless my response brought it up to light and up to the recent discussion tab. Long and behold it received 72 responses and very positive responses. How I wished that member was here to read them.

Absolutely a great idea. I from time to time go through the no response tab. See with so many members sometimes put up so many discussions in one sitting, some great discussions are missed and push down further into the no response tab. I have had fun doing that from time to time because it puts a smile on my face to see that I started a discussion off and to my amazement it because very active, so for your idea!

I try to do this at least once each time that I am on mylot. I try to look at the new user discussions tab and answer one of them and then I try to go to the ones that have no responses and try to answer a few of them so that they can become active discussions that might get more attention then. I know that I do not like to start a discussion and not get any responses.

It is a very kind thing to do, responding to discussions with zero responses. This helps everyone out and especially on the last day of the month when people are scurrying to get those last few lines in to earn. You TYPE you EARN so you're first helping yourself but helping others out immensely as well. I am going to try to respond to the no response discussions as much as possible as well.

Many times I check on posts that have 0 responses. Some are boring so I don´t get into them. But it seems that there are some that just weren´r seen at the aproppiate time. Many are made by newbies who don´t have friends yet. We old members know that there are many ways to check our friend´s posts. Anyway, I answer one or two no responses posts a day most of the time

Hi there! Maybe you're running out of options or discussions to attend to. But for me, I try to respond to discussions that are worth my time. I like the idea of discussions and learning new things. So far, I couldn't see much of my friends with no responses yet.

i do that everytime i have more time to spend at mylot. i search around jumping from one profile to another seeing what cool discussions are there, i also go to see the new user and the no responses. i want to sometimes feel what is it like to be responding first har har har. but i go around. specially with the newbies. to make them feel this is home or second home atleast, i was once new too and it was cool when people who are veteran will welcome you. thats what mylot is all about... give and take. lets help people who have 0 responces. good job sham

Many of the zero discussion is one liner or a poll or hard to understand or hard stuff like politics. Well, good luck to you.

I like that idea. Sometimes I also scan through zero response discussions and try to answer them. My problem is that some discussions are pretty difficult to respond to. others are too specific to a group to answer only. But if I could, I would respond. I myself wouldn't want to start a discussion without anyone responding to it.

I respond to those discussion in which in think i can contribute something whether they have 0 response or many i don't mind but yeah its good if all those who have not got any response get few responses on there discussion which would make them happy too

I usually look for the new posts with 0 response and see if I can add my two cents worth. Ultimately it is what we say that is more important, but it is always good to be the first to say so that we are not affected by others' opinion if they had posted first. And it would definitely encourage the one posting to see there is at least response on his topics. Good strategy...but just only those with 0 response? why limit yourself?

Hello Shamrack, I have also responded to discussions with zero responses in the past in order to revive them. I have also searched many times for discussions with zero responses and have tried to give my response if possible. Actually, there are many discussions with zero which are a bit confusing and there are some which I have not understand. But, that is very good to know that you are also thinking like this. I am happy that I am not alone. We get pain for our participation why not make their participation fruitful. We cannot get paid until there is a single response to our discussion. When anyone give response, we get paid. I admire your idea and will continue this in future also.

Hello Sham, Great idea but I hope you won’t give up easily. Once I tried the same but the topics with no responses are very tough to manage. I felt the zero responses, just because, nobody can contribute anything there. For me, many of them were not appeals even I deliberately tried to help. So all the best to you. Please share the experience too later.

Thanks for your time I should say. I'll also try to do the same but sometimes time is so limited. I really wanted to respond to all discussions but my eyes are getting tired already after I used it for an hour or more.
