Have you ever had someone sent to you from somewhere for a reason?

I think that people are sometimes sent to us for reasons. I have experienced it just this week. I was, in the best way I can describe it, in a wolf's den. Suddenly...there she was. Out of nowhere there was someone on my side that really saved my tail. How could I ever thank her for stepping in and making me her concern? She didn't have to help me out but for some reason, she did. I am going to do another discussion on my "issue" but for now, I am just so amazed at how sometimes out of nowhere, people can be sent from where ever they are sent from just for us. Have you ever had someone show up for you? Out of nowhere you suddenly had an alliance for no good reason at all? Someone told me it was karma...someone else said it was because I was in a prayer...I have to say that no matter how they come to be as they are...I'm sure glad they do. Maybe I can be that person for someone someday.

This happens to me all the time. I had my car break down and I missed the only bus our town gets in a day. I had to walk 10 miles. At 8 miles I couldn't walk any farther. I rested and started out again praying for someone to help me. Just then, an Elderly Lady looked out her window and saw me. She saw a woman who looked like she was about to collapse, stumbling over her own feet, looking exhausted. She ran out of her house and kept saying, "Lady, are you alright? Do you need help? Do you need a ride?" It was like a dream, I could hear someone in the distance. I thought it was my imagination. Then she said loudly, "Lady, please stop. I'm old, I can't chase you." Now that wouldn't fit in a dream. So I turned around. There she was, the sweetest, kindest little angel of mercy.. She gave me a ride. Quite adorable conversationalist she was. That's the most dramatic one and the best so far, stay tuned! Glad you got help. We all need a little when people gang up on us. Take care!

Credit Unions do tend to be more in your corner than banks. Just read all the fine print there, too. I had all my accounts at a credit union until overdraws started going to District Attorneys and people started getting arrested. Our banks we have overdraw protection, after our new district attorney, credit unions don't. So now I just have savings with them. But that's just our area, I think.

That's wonderful! She was your sent person! Mine was so "out of nowhere" that I swear..it was weird. I look back on it and think..what are the chances and for her to have been so kind..wow. I was certainly with the wolves before she came along. Thanks for sharing and I hope you meet many more "sent" people.

I am thinking of transferring all my accounts to that credit union. Just because of the honesty and decency she had towards me. I think the thank you card is well deserved and I even told her I was going to come give her a ride in my car..LOL. Such a sweetie she is.

This falls into my FATE theory.( They are sent from the FATE lobby.)This FATE thing came home to me big time last Summer. When my granddaughter and I had to move in together. If she hadn't been at that very Albertson's at that very time, on that very day she would never have met the gal who later introduced her to her now husband. He is such a gem and she is so lucky to have found him. Things just work this way for reason. It is so cool to see it all come about. Life is a trip!

Life is a trip! It is amazing how things happen and I am telling you it was out of nowhere! I can't wait to share what the deal was. There was a wolf or two in my story. Thanks for sharing and I am glad your daughter was at that Albertson's.

It was the strangest thing! I was with two people that were looking to take me to the "cleaners" so to speak and there she was! Walked right into the middle of it, took me away from them...and sealed a different deal altogether that was to my benefit! Even leaned over the desk after I talked to her and said "we are going to fix this for you." I have no explanation why she would have even bothered.

Maybe there is someone watching over us who cares so much. If we would only take the time to understand him how rewarding our life could be even now. Maybe Job understood that and patiently went through the crucible knowing that God would not abandon him and that eventually all would work out for the eternal good.

My most obvious was with this lady. I'm still not real happy with the Job thing..but..I am working on it..Thanks for the response.

I think it can just seem that way. It does in my situation. In a way it wasn't all of a sudden, but in another way it is. It is because Here I am in my 30s, still living with my mom, never lived on my own, never had a real relationship. Then I turn 40. 41,43, by then, you really believe it's not going to happen for you. For entertainment, every tuesday I went to kareoke. There was this women who would get up and sing. For months,we would see each other, I would say hi to her, she would say hi to me and we would go o our way. Then, one tuesday i walked in and saw some friends sitting at a table so I decided to go talk to them. She was there. We started talking and she made a remark,"boy, we sure do have alot in common." We finally went out on a date and it was wonderful. A year later, we were buying a house together and May will be ten years together!

Great story! I love a happy ending. Mine was not a soul mate but I sure was loving her when I left...LOL...It was so unexpected. Just sitting there wondering what I was going to do and how I had got in to the mess and boom..she was there. Fixed everything and didn't even have to. I have to say it was a blessing. Thanks for sharing and take care.

I do not know that I have ever experienced quite that, but I am glad that you did. I usually find that God has worked in my life when I feel that I am at the end of all my options. Thank God for people who come into your life at these times!

It is amazing that sometimes when we are at the bottom...nowhere to go..it always works out. I mean..I don't think we are by no means immune to bad things but sometimes I think we might even be "timed". Weird. Thanks for responding.

i do believe its karma too, because you are praying and you are good to others. once you are good to others then you attract good karma. there are people that you meet on the bus, or in a coffee shop and will tell you something that is out of this world, but then you will realize that... that was the thing you were thinking about and needed answers. i had experienced that already and it never fails to amazed me how did they know that. maybe God sends guardian angels to guide you. i believe in angels.

Yes Jen, it has happened to me and many times too. When my dad passed away suddenly in 1973, he left us in great debt.Since i had just passed my college and my brother was schooling and my mom in shock we were totally helpless. At that time a very distant relative who was treated with contempt by many people and not taken seriously by everyone suddenly came to our aid and helped us tremendously and was instrumental in seeing that we were not hurt financially. He came as a Godsend and after helping us vanished from our lives as mysteriously as he had come. There are too many instances like this in my life to write about here but suffice it to say that God comes in some form to help us when we are in real need.

My boyfriend Jen came into my life at a very difficult time in my life. I have no idea how I allowed myself to attend a party I was ademit on not attending. Had I not met this man the day that I did, I would not be the cheerful person that I am. He is such a passive type person who just with his eyes can get me to take a few breaths in life and think things thoroughly as oppose to my past when I was always on the defense. So I count all my blessings daily thanking every minute of it.

I do think that people are meant to meet us some day. I will give you a example that happened to me. When I was younger, I would get into relationships that didn't last because the people ended up not being faithful. I told myself and god that I wasn't going to be with anyone anymore. They had to come to my house and for me to know that they were meant for me in order for me to be with anyone anymore. Well, one day my husband before we met he came to my house to meet my dad with a friend of his. He came over a lot after that to visit my dad. We would talk a lot. Sometimes we visited outside sitting in chairs enjoying the weather. We became good friends and would talk about everything about how we felt about different things and things we had dealt with. One day we were talking and we just looked in to each others eyes and we just kissed. We didn't mean for it to happen it just did. We've been together ever since. I feel that my husband was made for me. We have the same size hands. I thought that was neat too that we could put our hands together and they would fit like a glove.

That is neat! I think people are meant to meet too. My new friend wasn't a soul mate, but she sure saved my tail. I think to myself to what extent our daily life can effect someone else? Alot in my case. I hope I can be or have been as good to someone else as she was for me. Thanks for sharing!

Many times in my life when situations seem about impossible to where I am ready to give up, and feel alone, scared, frightened and confused but remembering to Pray about it and believing God for something that a lot of time is when things happen. Sometimes like you said it could be in the form of an angel like this, who you may never see again in your life and never know their name, or it could be someone sent to you who you can become friends with and know they can be there for you forever.

JEN...I can't put a handle on it...Karma..Fate..Guardian Angel..or God...BUT, it does seem "what goes around, come's around!" AND the reason I say this, is toooooo soon you forget, that just lately---YOU were THAT "someone sent from somewhere for a reason." YOU were the Angel that intervened with a young, troubled lady, at your place of employment...and helped to save her day! I would like to believe...you just reaped your rewards, for your caring about some-one else! I am, SO THANKFUL, some-one was there for YOU!! I wish there was a rainbow avatar..I would send it..! BIG, BIG HUGZ!

After I moved here, I had trouble finding a job which was more suited to my skills and experience. Down on my luck, I accepted a survival job. It was hardwork, and I wasn't happy with it. But it was all I could do to survive. Then I was assigned to a newly-hired supervisor who recognized my talent, and promoted me and put me in the office. After he did that, he was let go. I couldn't help but feel that he was just sent in there to put me in my right place, and right job.
