I am having dilemma on what to do with my underarms. It's not dark but my problem is the lines and the "chicken skin". Which is better? To wax, pluck or shave? I can't wear sleeveless blouses anymore because I'm too shy to show my underarms. Please help.

the easiest and the cheapest is to shave. but that causes the 'chicken skin' you worry about and it causes itch. you can regularly apply deo with licorice to prevent it from further darkening. well i use bleaching cream on mine like for three nights in a week to keep it fairer. im not sure if its 'dermatologically' proper but i take care of mine almost like i do with my face. i even use lotions for it to prevent 'wrinkling'. haha i know these all sound really vain but this is how i think it should be taken care of. my mom suggests to pluck or to wax but you cant do either unless it grows a bit more. and for sure you dont want to have friends accidentally peek under your sleeves, dont you? but both are way better than shaving. you may want to consider laser hair removal. it has longer effect but can be really costly.

Are the lotions you are using the same as the ones we use for the other parts of our body? Or it it designed specifically for the underarms? I want to try that too because I want to have a nicer underarms.

funny you asked, but yeah they are the just the same as those i use for other body parts. would you believe there's this moisturizer i got which was too rich and thick it would pass for someone in a cold climate, i havent gotten the chance to use it on my face as it would make me too oily so i used it instead on my feet and it worked just fine. so i guess body lotions are gona be just fine with pits. oh i just use it at night by the way. you dont see results right away of course, not even in a month's use but just use them religiously and who knows, while you're aging, you're pits are not!

I use a very good moisturizing shaving cream. I shave with a good razor. if you are shaving and from what I am understanding you are experincing may be you are shaving harder than you have too. Been there done that occasionally. Also a dull razor will not be good. Change your razor blade frequently for us that do use a razor. if there is any rust seen throw it away. if you have disposable razors same thing. the rust on a razor can cause an infection.
