The Pittsburgh Steelers are a team who has fans nationwide. I am from Pittsburgh, and I was around for the Franco Harris,Terry Bradshaw,Rocky,Jack Lambert, etc. days. We were lucky, when my son was small we had a chance to meet Franco and he signed autographs and we got his picture with him. A couple years later we were able to get that picture autographed by Franco. Over the years we met several of the players and got many sutographs. Has anyone met any of the Steelers? How was the experience?

I too, am a born and bred 'burgher. A die hard black and gold fan. Had the oppertunity as a child to meet many of the legends, Jack Ham, Bradshaw, Franco, Rocky and a few others. I really don't remember too much form it and have since lost the autographs, go figure. I do know Carlton Haselrig fairly well. Luv the black and gold.

We actually still have most of our autographs, and several items that have them on. A foot ball and a Steeler figure which is signed by several Steelers.

I'm from NY but love the Steelers. I haven't met any players- but would love to meet Big Ben- My 2nd choice would have been Randle El- Not a steeler anymore though- So we won today- finishing 500... Just glad we beat the Bengals!

I think Big Ben would be a nice guy,I would like to meet Heinz,he is so good to his Mom,and he comes across so nice in interviews. Possibly we will have a new coach next year. Bill Cowher should be making his decision now that the season is over.

I saw in an interview that he said he'd be making his decision. He might not get to. It might be made for him. Sometimes it is good for a change. I often say that after the season is over the teams shuffle players and coaches. It's interesting to see who ends up where.

Wow... time has flown. I was a teenager when Terry Bradshaw was the QB. I'm from NW PA so I also am a Steeler fan. Last year was great, this year was not so good. I used to have some autographs of famous sports people, like Sparky Anderson. But I think it got lost somewhere during all the moves.

Boy that game yesterday was pretty sad. Big Ben got sacked so many times, but my Aunt was loving it. She is a Ravens fan so she was doing the happy dance. But at least we have last year,it may have to do us for awhile,we may not be winning any superbowls any time soon.
