I'm 12 weeks pregnant now, but I noticed that my morning sickness is getting worse. This is new to me because I was lucky enough not to have any during my 1st pregnancy. But now, I felt like crying everyday, my stomach seems to reject anything I eat, I feel dizzy almost everyday. It's really making me dysfunctional and I wonder when will this end. I read that most morning sickness reduce after 8 weeks, but I wonder why mine is getting worst :(( Did you experience something like this?

I understand how you feel. I am experiencing nausea right now and like you I feel like I am becoming dysfunctional. I don't want to work and I don't want to do anything. I like to rest in bed and just relax. It's hard but I have to work so I have no choice. I have to start saving money for the delivery and the vitamins I need throughout the pregnancy. I just hope I will get through this all.

I got a serious sickness when I was pregnant as well. It was awful that I didn't wnat to eat at all, I felt dizzy and exhausted all the time plus the feeling of throwing up, it lasted for more than 3 months and then it eventually got better and better. My midwife told me it would get better by the time went by andit did. I just slept all the time when I was felling sick, I would feelbetter when I lied down on the bed instead of doing stuff.

Morning sickness is a normal phenomenon in early pregnancy but if it gets worst from worse as you say, you must consult with a gynaecologist without any delay.

Hi Sis Jorhemkris, I felt the same thing until my 20th week of pregnancy. I even wanted to quit my job because I'm already ashamed with my co-workers becacuse of my absences. Nausea, vomiting, unexplainable cravings... all of these are a routine almost everyday. There was even a time when i woke up in the middle of the night because of difficulty in breathing. According to my OB, everything is normal, a little bit of patience is needed because everything will be allright soon. And she was right. As of this writing, I'm enjoying my pregnancy already, and very thankful that i experienced those things only for a few weeks, because some of my friends had that so called morning sickness in their entire pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon :)

I know that some women have morning sickness throughout a good portion of their pregnancy. I don't know how much fluids you drink, but I might suggest that you stay hydrated as much as possible. It's important to do so. That's one think I might suggest. You could always talk to your doctor and see what he recommends. It couldn't hurt to do so.

yes i did in my 2nd pregnancy. It was horrible i thought that my child would be malnutrient because I couldn't keep food down. No matter what I did or ate. And the doctor did nothing to help. I remained sick thoughout my whole pregnancy and I had to bare through it...Most of the time soup was okay but the sickness only got worse as you say and didnt go away after a certain about of weeks.

Really well it's part of your transition you haven't reach your first trimester yet, but a friend of mine also experienced such kind of morning sickness. They say your body is somewhat adjusting.Better be regular on your pre-natal check up.

Mine passed just after the 12 week point. I remember thinking that there was no way I was going to be be able to survive another six months of it and it went away. So hang in there. You should see your doctor or midwife if you aren't able to keep anything down. I know you are probably very nervous about taking any medications while pregnant but you might want to ask your doctor about taking something really low-risk like ginger. In fact here's a link to an article on ginger for morning sickness: http://www.suite101.com/content/ginger-for-nausea-during-pregnancy-a359138 I used to carry around a half lemon in a ziplock bag. I found smelling the lemon whenever I felt a wave of nausea coming on helped me. I hope it passes for your soon.
