I need help for Windows 7

I know this is a very simple issue but I am not the kind of person who is good when it comes to computers. I recently got an Acer Netbook with Windows 7 Starter for its operating system. I just need your help guys, how will I customize my netbook. Like for example how will I change the wallpaper on my desktop. I don't like the blue boring design. I tried to choose a picture from my file but when i right clicked it, there is no option that says "set as wallpaper". please help me.

Most likely your Windows 7 is a Starter version. You won't be able to customize or change the desktop themes if you are using a Starter version. Most netbooks come with Starters. Best you upgrade your netbook to Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows 7 Ultimate is more expensive and all that it's got going compared to the Pro version is that it's got all language packs only. Win 7 home premium or professional is the way to go.

Just open it with the Windows picture viewer , then you can see a option called Set as wallpaper , or else you can see it in the extra options
