Recently I moved so I had to change all of my dr's they where just to far. I have problems with my left leg I have ruptured tendons torsel tunnel as well as fluid build up. I was suppose to have surgery but became ill and it had to be posponed. I explained to the dr that I have not gained any weight and in fact I have lost around 15lbs not much I know. The only thing that he was focused on was my weight. I know that I am over weight but do you have to keep telling me when there is not much I can do right now. I am watching what I eat and things of that nature. Any ideas on what to do so that I can shed some more weight. Also what about this dr. not sure how to feel about him.

With me, when I am sick or cannot move, I gain. So even if I am not well, I have to move around. I have a slow metabolism. I had a doctor like yours who was more concerned with weight loss then curing the injury. I have a cast on my leg, and they told me that I have to keep exercising it, walking around or else it will not be that good. I just cannot bend it. So I am walking as much as I can and also doing some weight lifting. Oh and hoping I do lose something. I ate healthy, but well when someone else is doing the shopping for you, you do not know what you get.

I don't know if I would like this doctor or not. Seems to me he isn't paying much attention to your needs. Especially if your husbands sugar is dropping and he increased the insulin. I am diabetic and I too have trouble with my legs. My doctor prescribed the Atkins diet for me and so far it is working great even though I can't exercise. And my blood sugar is doing terrific. There are a lot of things you can do to exercise that won't hurt your legs. I sit in a chair and lift weights with my arms. Sure it doesn't help the legs but it does help the weight loss and helps to increase my strength. I hope that everything goes well for you and that you are able to find a doctor that you trust and feel comfortable with. I know things will work out for you.
