Kirinx, first of all, congrats on you reading through the bible, I have done this a few times over the years, and I learned something new each time. The Rapture, when Jesus blows the Shofar, (ram's horn, trumpet)and those who have followed Him, will be taken up to be with Him and it is a very controversial topic, even among the most scholarly of people. It is confusing, I have friends who believe this will happen before the tribulation, and those who think it won't happen until afterwards..Then there are some who believe it will happen sometime in the middle.. My opinion? Like I said, it is confusing, and unless G♥d Himself tells me what is truth, I am just going to be prepared, whether it happens before, during, or after. I don't think there is going to be two raptures. I also believe that is has nothing to do with our salvation, if it did, then it would say. Though when we are told to not be asleep, (asleep as in not following Him,) it may happen before, but I am not going to say it will be at that time..

Well I took that if you are in Romans, that meant you have already read the whole Old Testament and part of the new? Yet regardless, even to read just a book is a accomplishment for some, so I think it's wonderful. As for the pain, yeah me too, my tolerance is low and probably why I do my best to stay healthy, don't want no needles poking me because I didn't take care of me body..lol

Oh yeah, I forgot, if you are new to reading the Bible, the NT is much better to read first. Still, you have done a lot of reading and don't forget to read the OT, that is the root of the NT, we need the roots also..:)

Well I have read part of the whole testament I stopped when the pastor's wife suggested that I read all of the new testament first and then read the rest of the old testament.

Greetings. Please check my article at... http://relijournal.com/religion/futuristic-biblical-prophecy-at-a-glance/ It's not too far down on the first page. Most important thing is to be ready, by having our lives surrendered to Christ each day.

The word rapture is not in the Bible at all. The rapture is mentioned by churches in the fifties. There is places in the Bible that mentions taking away but no rapture. I have read the bible all the way through and still am not sure that there even is a rapture.Maybe the Christians will have to stay and suffer Tribulation like everyone else.
