The word "rapture" isn't anywhere in the Bible, but it refers to the doctrine that Christ will come again in the clouds and catch away his followers into heaven. Do you believe in the rapture?

There is not a word in the Bible translated 'rapture'. But the teaching, the idea... is there. Why do you aks? Just wondering what YOU believe.

I believe it's going to happen. Lots of signs point to it. People have been expecting Christ's return for over 2000 years but there is no question the scriptural signs of the times are more numerous than ever before. I'm listening for the trumpet of I Corinthians 15:51, 52.

Yes, in the vulgate Bible the greek word HARPAZO which means "caught up" in 1 Thes 4:17 was translated into the Latin word RAPIEMUR. It is from rapiemur that we get the word RAPTURE the reason why you can't find it anywhere in the Bible. Every man who believes in God believes in His word.
