Afraid of animals?

Someone just came over and they were scared of my cats! They said cats are so quiet they made them nervous. This reminded me of my grandfather who used to be afraid of my pet parakeet. He had a phobia of all birds and would be terrified whenever he saw them whether they were wild birds or pet birds in a cage. Anyone else have any phobias or friends with fears of common animals like this? Myself I am mostly just afraid of snakes, they are just icky to look at and creepy to me.

I know someone who is afraid of dogs- any type of dogs actually, even puppies.. I don't even know why, they aren't really harmful and puppies don't even bite. Maybe she had a bad experience about dogs when she was little. I am afraid of crocodiles, cockroaches and sharks, who wouldn't be.

my sister is just like that lol. woa I cant blame for you being scared of crocodiles and sharks o.o i hate the sight of them.

How can someone be afraid of a cute bird like that, i have actually seen peoples that are scared of cats and dogs anyways im scared of certain animals too, like the tiger, lion, snakes but since you dont really find tigers or lions in your locality, im mostly scared of snakes. I have seen alot of snakes even the poisonous one like the cobras and such and the very thought of em scares the eff outta me D:

maybe he/she watched that horror film called the birds.which was about birds attacking people that movie can make anyone feel uncomfortable about birds.

Hi. hdc4free. I believe that I am afraid of anything that will run after me. Any animal that makes me its prey, I am afraid of. I don't think that I could be afraid of cats. They seem pretty harmless to me. Now when they start to scratch are widen their fangs out, they have me as a scaredy cat then!

I am scared of big mean dogs but I dont have a phobia of them.My sister does tho no matter how cute the dog is she is terrified of them and will grab onto me screaming for me to make the dogs go away. she even screams at dogs that look like Lassie ^^

Yes, one year back a dog was bitten my brother's son and he was hospitalised. However he was recovered from a longe treatment. Since then I had developed dog phobia and used to keep away from the dogs. Previously I had phobia. I even not to take my lunch if anybody discussed about snakes with me.
