Ice Cream Weather

It's HOT HOT HOT. It's not even the middle of April and it is pushing the mid 90s here. Summer if officially here; and early at that! I had to stop at the local store and pick up some ice cream. I don't care if it's not good for me or if it will make me gain weight... ice cream will keep me COOL! Zelo

Here it is starting to be hot, too. The summer is comming. Sometimes when I go out, I also like to have ice cream so that I will feel fresh. Fortunately I have no problem to eat it:) I love China

Is ice cream in China the same as in the United States or like gilato in Italy? Do you know how it's made or what it is made from? Just curious! Zelo

I think the ice cream is similar all over the world, otherwise it won't be ice cream Here there are some foreign brands of the ice cream and they are much more expensive.

I do love my ice cream too! On most days during these last few days her in California, it get extremely hot! And all I am thinking about when I get home is home much I would love to have some rocky road ice cream! But I can't right now because I gave it up for lent since I am Catholic! But boy, does ice cream sound so good right now! Even though it looks like it will rain soon! XD

i do agree! i love ice cream. Just last sunday the heat was terrible so my huby went out and brought us ice cream, cookies and cream! and we all had a blast eating it with our kids.

I see that you are in Florida and I understand that, I'm jealous... I wish it was hot like that here in New England. I eat ice cream when it is hot or cold. But I prefer to have ice cream indoor in the summer soit won't melt.

That is a good observation. The thing about FL is it is sunny ALL THE TIME. Even when its cold (especially when its cold in the wintertime; that's what allows it to get cold here) the sun is out. When it is warm and there is cloud cover... that is the best time to eat ice cream... but come to think of it ANYTIME is the right time! Zelo

I am wishing it was in the 90s right now where i live. Warmer weather does seem to increase our appetites for a frozen treat or two. I enjoy eating ice cream all year long. I don't wait for summer.

We had weather like that, but now it has mellowed out to 60-70. I keep icecream year round, but what has really tasted good while I have had this cold has been popsicles, made with juice. They keep you cool, or cool you off then they are a little sweet treat as well.

Amen to that! People that live up North always tell me you can keep putting clothes on but can only take off so much... our only defense is a good cold bowl of ice cream!

Hi. zeloguy. It was really hot today too. I had to turn on my air today around 11 am this morning. It was very hot. I usually turn it on around 1 or 2 in the afternoons. But today was an exception! It was about 87 degrees today. It was so hot and muggy today. It is time for me to buy me some cold icy drinks now. I know that I will be staying cool all summer long. Stay cool and enjoy your ice cream!

Come on down a few states... about 7 degrees warmer (although I hear it's finally going to start cooling off). To live in the south you have to love the warm weather or it will just get to you.

I am a hugh fan of ice cream. I'm from the south so hot weather is also already here. It was 89 degrees today. I stayed inside other than going to and from school, but you are right. This is perfect weather for ice cream. I seen this discussion in which made me want to go get a sluch from sonic! lol

Ice cream, ice creame, ice cream.....I love the stuff. My most four favorite flavors; strawberry with real strawberry chunks, snickers ice cream, cookies and cream, and cookie dough. Oh and Sonic's slushies and Ouicktrip slushies. Gotta try thier blue raz energy drink slushy!!!!! I strongly recommend it. It was hot here in St.Louis till some severe storms hit that bought down the temp.

I love icecreams, irrespective of the season i eat them, and luckily i don't put on weight that easily so i don't have such a problem even, i started eating plenty of icecreams and i'm loving it.

it still pretty cool here where i am in canada. in fact, its so cool that i put the oven on to make cookies just because i was cold. however, i do like ice cream but i cant eat a lot of it because it really bothers my asthma.

LOL Yep it is nice and warm down in the South. Here in NC we are in the 70's right now. It has gone as high as 87 here. Love the beginning of Spring. Its warm with a breeze but not quite a humid as the middle of summer! Keep enjoying the sunshine!

Ice Cream is good any ol time but i agree it hits the spot when it's hot. It hit the 80's here in Iowa sunday then dropped to semi-normal April weather. It's dangerous when there's a DQ right around the corner but not for long since I'm moving. My 3 yr old has been going to town on rootbeer popsicles lately.
