$ 32,000 to talk about drinking and tanning?

I don't know if somebody around here knows who is NICOLE POLIZZI (SNOOKI) from the reality show JERSEY SHORE...
She is just a crazy girl...I don't know if she went to college or not..but for me she is not the better person to go into a college to talk about drinking and tanning and get paid this much of money to do it.
I don't know where this world is going but I don't believe it is going by a good way..
what do you think? do you think that colleges should pay this much money to someone who is not qualified to talk? I feel so mad!!!!

As far as the stupid show Jersey Shore goes, I hate that damn show. The american economy is in the toilet and yet some half wit, deep tanned idiot is being paid how much....$32,000 to talk about absolutly nothing?! Are you kidding me!!!!! Some people only go to college for two things, to drink and hook up. You might as well get paid $40,000 to fart. Half of the population in the US is broke and this moron is being paid a ton of money to talk about tanning and drinking. I don't tan, don't need to. I like a good alcholic beverage occasionally like the next person. I like to talk about alcholic beverages, but if I want to talk about something that useless I can sit on my butt and do it for free.
Jersey Shore is the worst crap that I have ever seen.
TANNED MORONS + CURSING AND FIGHTING + TOO MUCH BOOZE = JERSEY SHORE !!!!

let me tell ya! I LOVE the show as well. what is unacceptable for me is the fact that she is going to a UNIVERSITY, where there are many people better qualified to talk about anything..I know she is on tv and it makes her more visible..but I don't agree with that at all!

Jersey Shore is horrible but I'm sad to say I love the show. I think watching these people's drama just makes me feel better about my own life. Kind of like Jerry Springer, if anyone remembers that show. Always made me feel ten times better about my own life after watching!

WOW! I would love to get paid for just talking. That's an awful lot of money. Imagine what people do to get decent money these days. The internet age.

I thought that was pretty ridiculous too. It's pretty sad that people can become famous for being sleezy drunk idiots. They were saying too that someone else spoke at something else there and didn't get paid as much. I think it was a Grammy winning singer or something like that. I think the choice to have Snooki talk went off the votes of the students too. You would think the school would limit the choices to people that could actually inspire the students.

I haven't watched that series but I've read a lot about "Snooki" and seen a lot of her photos. My impression about her is not favorable but I can't see her as an appropriate spokesperson of something cause she hasn't really proved anything as of the moment for other people to learn from her. And speaking of fees, $32,000 for a talk about drinking and tanning? I don't think college students need this kind of talk or forum cause most probably they know better than her. How much does a teacher's salary cost nowadays?

I haven't seen this story yet. But if Snooks went to a college to talk about the SIDE EFFECTS and bad problems associated with drinking and tanning, then I definetely think she is qualified to talk. This girl has made a fool of herself on the show with drinking, even getting arrested for public intoxication. She's not the best role model but she shows what happens when you drink too much.
