A confusion about potato pancakes

Yesterday night I was checking on pancakes online. I wanted to check on a recipe for scotch pancakes as one of my aunts gave me a big jar of blackberry jam. As I was reading, I came upon potato pancakes.I was curious as I love potatoes. But when I opened the page, it was full of canned dog food. Do dogs eat pancakes? What does this mean? Any of you know? Enlighten me, please.

Potato pancakes have nothing to do with dog food. There are pancakes made with potatoes as a base, and they are delicious.

That is funny, but I guess potatoes can be good as part of their diet. I know a lot of the food I get for my dog has potatoes in it.

I've heard Reibekuchen and Kartoffelkuchen, but not Dotsch. Sounds like a combination of dot and Deutsch...

I´ll check all of them as long as it´s not in German. I´m too old to learn the language of my ancestors.

You've just entered the 'Twilight Zone'...lol. Seems that miss directed search results are happening more and more, where something totally unexpected comes up. I guess that potatoes are probably good for dogs, although most of the nutrition is in the skin. I just lost my dog, but she would have loved potato pancakes. Actually, she liked everything except spinach and mushrooms....

Oh, I'm so sorry about Lola! I've noticed that you haven't had any recent discussions about her, and wondered why. When you're ready I'm here. We will share some stories and a good cry, eh?

The worst is, I blame myself. The good thing is that she didn´t die, she got lost and someone must have grabbed her as she was a throughbreed ( is that the word in English?). I only hope that wherever she is, someone is taking good care of her.

We won´t talk of lost dogs now. I lost my Lola before Christmas and I haven´t been able to make a post about her. But Iwhen I ask for a recipe online, I expect a recipe, not a picture of a can. Take care!

Potato pancakes are delicious and although I am sure dogs love them too, they are definitely human food. They are scrumptious and I love them. My mother makes them all the time. I haven’t tried googling potato pancakes but I did a search through MyLot and came up with several recipes for people not just dogs…

It is a trick the website owners use to attract unsuspecting people like yourself. You have to be careful. It is simple a con.
