Followup- Roommate kicking.

So, as a followup to my previous posting regarding my question about kicking my roommate out, he came home and I talked to him about it. He's fine with it, in fact, I think he's glad. I know he didn't really like it here anyways and wanted to get out. He understands that he has until June 1st to get himself out and that's plenty of time for him to get ready to go. I will be making sure that we get everything back that belongs to us, and then we'll finally be able to clean the room up and air it out. We only needed a roommate to get us through the winter since work is slow for me then, and now that work is picking up, we should be fine on our own. We may try it again though, finding someone else, but we're hoping that if it comes to that, then we find someone a lot better. How can it get any worse than this right? I'm happy with the outcome, he didn't take it as bad as he could have, but at least it's done and out of the way. Now we'll regain our sanity and peace.

It sounds like things are looking up for you! I hope that if you need to get another roommate that you do a very good job of screening him/her so that you know what you are getting into before it gets like this situation! Have a great week!!!

Well I am glad that he did not get mad at you, and that you have a date to look forward to. Having no room mate for the summer will let you assess your needs. Have I understood that you actually have two roommates? Perhaps there will be some job and income changes for you this year.

What a relief I glad it worked out in your favor and as soon as he does move out you will be able to get all back in order. I do hope the next one will be much better and that life back in your home reconvenes back to normal.
