KingsXI Punjab stuns Chennai Super Kings.

KingsXI Punjab today stunned M S Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings by scoring record 191 runs in a fabulous chase. Put in to bat by KXIP after winning the toss, CSK amassed 188, the highest score in this edition of the tournament so far, at the back of 74 of 43 balls from Murali Vijay, 66* of 56 from Badrinath and 43 of 20 from skipper Dhoni. An excellent 120 of just 63 balls from Paul Valthaty saw KXIP home with five balls to spare. I hope this win will spur up KXIP who had a very bad IPL so far since its inception. I also hope this fabulous win of KXIP will create the interest in cricket loving fans of mylot who had given lukewarm response to IPL this year. Your comments please.

Ya definitely it will be an absolute set back to the Chennai Super Kings.At the same time King's XI Punjab deserved this win as they played fantastically today.Of course what an innings by Paul Valthaty. 120 runs from just 63 balls,absolutely brilliant.

Well it stunning performance by KXIP. The team is not so strong and i feels horrible for the defeat chennai got.
What a performance by young man Paul Valthaty 120 of 63 balls it incredible. This i best performance so far in IPL uncluding previous editions as according to me! I think IPL had given chances to show the young player their talent and they are doing good a Paul Valthaty is an Example here!!!!

This will be path breaking performance for Valthaty. His performance has been lackluster so far. After playing in under 19 world cup along with Irfan Pathan and Parthiv Patel could only play one O.D.I. match in 1996 for his team Mumbai. This Knock of his will certainly open larger opportunities for him.

I expected KXIP will be winning against CSK. They've got to perform today because they didn't play well last IPL match against Pune Warriors. And today, they created history by chasing a big score against the defending champions CSK. But I thought, Gilchrist or Shaun Marsh or Stuart McLaren would have been the reason and I never expected these super shots from Paul Valthaty, It was like expect the Unexpected because he didn't play well last match but he proved today. Hats off to him. Good to see lot of young talents in our team. This match is the most interesting match of any IPL seasons that I have watched so far.

yes, i accept it. CSK have missed some opportunities and their bowling was not up to the mark on today. I appreciate Paul valthaty batted simply a superb innings and made his team as a great victory against Chennai Super kings. Well done Kings XI Punjab and keep on going and all the best for your future matches.
