Hello All, I'm working for a project of my company. We want to order a software to manage manufacturing. So, we signed a contract with a software company. We must give them a deposit 40% the cost of this contract. During working time after the day of contract, they have not contacted us with any things about the project. Now, they have been late for 02 weeks comparing with agreement. My director want to get back the deposit. I made an announcement and to send them. However, I have not had any answers! I called to the director of that company. He didn't take my call! What should I do now?

I think maybe your boss should go this companies office and find out what's going on. To pay 40% up front and not receive any calls regarding your project. Sounds a little odd to me. I would expect more from a company requesting 40% up front.

ouch! Something wrong with the person you relying for. I think you are a victim of swindling in that particular case. You should first investigate the credibility of the company, before handling the deposit...?

I would stay on it until they answered me back. If they do not answer back, you may have to hire an attorney or turn them in to the BBB. (AKA Better Business Bureau)

I think that you and your director should be doing whatever it takes to get the deposit refunded. You might have to go through the bank and stop payment. (or whatever means you used to pay) Sounds like you've been scammed.

Just try calling them again and again. shoot them emails every 4 hours? haha. Also, tell your boss about how they're ignoring your calls and emails. For project, usually it's good if the bosses are the ones who talk to each other. You can also try going to their office if they keep on ignoring you. If worse comes to worst, have a sit down with your boss and if possible the top management, about legal actions to take against this company. I do hope everything turns up ok

Did you order your software online? You should have checked the company first before making any payment. If is a local shop, then you could always go to the shop to check out your order. I hope everything goes well for your company.

Do they have a contact email that perhaps you can send an email to a manager who can perhaps answer you. Also see if there is an alternate phone number and or a number to a corporate office, where you can call and complain or at least get status of the refund and or order.
