Tendulkar completes his maiden T-20 century.

Tendulkar today got the missing feather in his cap, hundred in T-20 format of the game, by hitting a fabulous hundred against Kochi Tuskers Kerala for Mumbai Indians played at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. Put in to bat by Kochi Tuskers after winning the toss, Sachin Tendulkar and Jacobs started well for MI and put on 61 runs before Jacob was out for 12 of 21 balls. Rayudu joined Tendulkar and both blasted the Tuskers attack to all parts of the ground until the last over of the innings when Rayudu sacrificed his innings to allow the little master to complete his maiden T-20 century. Tuskers now face uphill task of scoring 183 runs to win the match. If they could come anywhere near that total, the cricket fans are in for a big feast.

Yes its a treat to watch him pay, he made it and it was great. Good matches in this series of IPL. I am really enjoying watching and the way they are hitting the ball over the fence its a treat, missing though being out there in the field watching the matches.

Though the Mumbai Indians are apparently stronger than Kochi Tusker the was the later came upon yesterday, that even Sachin's Century went in vein.
The total MI had set was not easily reachable but the team spirit and the determination to win helped them register their first win beating the mighty side.

Yet another box checked off from the master's to do list.Sachin now seems to have a very few things left to complete is career as a complete batsmen.I never ever thought Sachin with his back injury and his age would be able to continue till the world cup 2011.But not only he did stay in the team but in the meantime completed fifty test tons,a double hundred in odi's,a world cup winning performance and now a IPL hundred.And the interesting fact is he does not seem to be satisfied he is just keeping on going.I wonder why he is not playing the twenty twenty internationals.Now it seems he has to get that mega ton,the fiftieth odi century and ofcourse a triple hundred in tests.

He is enjoying the best form of his life in last year or so and has completed many milestones in this period some of which you have pointed out. He does not seem to get tired of doing repeatedly what he has been doing for number of years. Body also seems to support him comparatively. He could maintain himself because of the restraint he must have been enforcing on himself.

This year it seems Sachin is hell bent to fill the missing gaps in his resume. So the world cup is in, now this hundred in the T20. Next gaps that he would like to fill are the IPL Trophy, Win against Aussies in Australia and a century at Lords. Once he addresses these issues, he can then take a bow from the game!! :)

Hi msdivkr,
It seems Tendulkar is winding up things now. Two more to make it fifty century in ODI and there after almost nothing would be left for SAchin to do. I was watching the match from the beginning and never observed any sort of pressure on his face.
Interestingly there was only one ball left and he was at 99. If he had missed he would miss the century. But as the say goes fortune favors the brave SAchin too did not get deprived.

Sachin so registers century in all the forms of present international cricket. His 100 off 61 balls against the IPL 5 match against Kochi Tuskers Kerala went in vain too, huh. What to do this has been the case for some matches, yet all get delighted with this living legend's batting stokes and the way he conceives them all by by ball, right.
The match overall was superb, the first win for the KTK indeed and that would open competition for all the teams in the table a lot.
Hope for such good matches in the upcoming games too.

Sachin is always the god of cricket to the whole world. He can do anything with any limited balls. In this year ipl sachin is top scorer having nearly 300 runs till now.
Sachin always rocks.
