how to flatten my tummy?

My sister told me that my face is thin but my tummy is big. How can I flatten my abs without doing crunches? I admit that I'm lazy to do sit ups, can I still have a flat tummy? Are some foods that can minimize my waist size?

Hey Rosie14, Spot exercising doesn't work on fat reductions of that spot. For instance, if I were to do crunches, I will not lose fat that covers my abs. Fat is reduced overall by you exercising and reducing your calorie intake (eat less of what you are eating). One without the other makes it more difficult to get results. There isn't really any kind of food that can minimize your waist size. Eating right and portion control will definitely help. Cutting out sugary drinks such as soda's (150 calories per can) and replacing it with water (0 calories) can help too. Apples might be good for you, but eat too many of them and even they can prevent you from getting reducing the waist size.

Hi rosie14! I think you should minimize your food intake especially the fat and the carbs. They said sit ups can really flatten your tummy but I think regular exercising helps, even just by fast walking or jogging. Drink plenty water and eat fruits rather than junk food. Water helps curb hunger and fruits and veggies makes us feel full. Good luck! Happy mylotting!
