Shopping to relax

haha I always try to do that too but I end up buying stuffs. So i try hard to not go to malls often. But there's this huge mall near our school and it's so tempting. We go there usually :D

Hey, that's a really good idea of getting some air con. It's very hot here in my country as well. Moreover, it's durian season and just thinking of it makes my mouth water.

I imagine many people do this. I know that people will go to McDonald's and get a drink and just stay all afternoon, visiting with friends, as well. The other place is the public library. A lot of people spend time there almost every day so that they do not run their utility bills up so high. An advantage there is that you can use your computer with their wi fi. Sometimes you just have to get out of the heat or the cold.

I hate to go shopping. I will go but it is only when I have to go and buy things we need or are out of. I do most of my shopping online. It is alot more convenient and relaxing for me.

That's quite painful if just going to the mall without shopping hehe, even window shopping will be okay but still. My home country gets really hot in the summer and we have tons of shopping mall, some people like to do that, just hang out in the mall, sitting in the bench and enjoy the air conditioner but not really into shopping. I prefer to find a restaurant to sit down, hav something to eat or drink instead of jus thanging out though.

Right now here we got snow yesterday so my brain is not thinking air conditioning just yet. But I have to admit, during the hot summer months here I am one to love to run into an air conditioned mall, if even to walk around or sit and people watch. I do like window shopping from time to time, so doing so during the summer is always a pleasure for me. lol

Well, my friends do hang out in malls too just to have good atmosphere especially in the summer. Most of the time we do not intend to buy anything too but it is almost certain that we would spend a little for food at some fancy restaurant where we can hang out and just chat some more.

Well, that's maybe an instinct of every people as of these days. Because go and see around the department store or mall is great past time... Even if we can't buy anything. We give us the idea what to buy next...

I dont know what it is with shopping that makes me feel good! This is no wonder why some ladies become shopaholics! Whether we buy stuff or not, it still makes me feel good. I guess it has something to do with being excited with the things you see. Hahahah! Comon let's go shopping!

I too just go to malls to just simply relax and feel the cold atmosphere inside. Sometime I look around for stuff and not really buying them. I do get inside any fastfood chain and buy something to drink to quench the thirst. Malls are heavily crowded now because people just wanted to go there to stay away from the very hot weather.

A lot of people will find their way to stores and malls during extreme heat or very cold weather. I like you will go and browse the mall and seldom buy anything. But then there are times I do go for shopping. But you will find people sitting in the food courts and not always eating something. What is really nice is our local mall has movies between 12am to 1pm for only 1.00. this will allow people to do something and get out of the heat too. But there is also a percentage of people that do not have ways to malls, or shopping and no air conditioners. they can't afford one and we always hear about deaths particularly in the elderly. So enjoy while you are mobile. Not everyone has the pleasure or the car to get to AC.

Absolutely right! Here in Melbourne, temperature reaches more than 40c in summer. It is very had to cope with such an extreme weather without an Air Con. So, many people go to the shopping centre and relax all day out there. It is a good idea but you cannot do it every single day. It can be fun to try out sometimes though.

yes it's true :) some people only go 'window shopping' :D because they only want to relax :D like me. 'cause many people don't have enough money to go for a shopping :)

Hahaha, I do the same thing too!

i dont go shopping to relax but sometimes in the winter, we will go out to the mall just to get out. also, in the summer, because i have asthma, i will go to the mall or the library just to call off.
