are you confident going to a doctor?

i won't say "to YOUR" doctor, since most of us probably do not have a personal one. i've read that most illnesses would have been avoided if only we go regularly to medical check-up. but apparently, most people do not do so (especially men). why? probably because we are afraid of what we could find out. or maybe we are just too lazy to go, thinking there is no need to. yet. i do not go to see the doctor so often. in fact, i really do not go at all unless involuntarily. example of those illnesses are diabetes, heart attack, prostate diseases and cancer. do you go to a medical check-up regularly?

I do not go to the doctor. I must make it a priority to take care of my body extremely well, which I do. I try to eat properly and things like that so that Iremain healthy. I do not have any kind of insurance or even a doctor that I would go see. Even when I injured my thumb I didn't go to the doctor..I don't do doctors.

that's good. apparently you have found a very good reason not to. i also wonder if you ever go to an auto mechanic's, or to any of those professional services.

I only go if I need to. I have them change the oil on my vehicles. But my brother does most work on my car if I need any.

I am not afraid to go to the doctor. I did not go for a few years because I did not have medical insurance.

well, medical insurance is not that too popular in my country. so if I have to go to the doctor, majority of the payment should come from my pocket (some of it maybe shouldered if you are employed). this may be the reason that most of my people do not go too often to the clinic. but given you have the means, still some people won't take it too seriously.

as you've said, you have a number of issues, it is indeed wise to keep in contact with medical personnel. as of now, i still do not see the need for me to have a medical check-up regularly. hope you get well.

No human being can 100% free of a physical disorder. There are hundreds of thousand kind of germs, irregularities, diseases, weaknesses, pains, dis balances and what not. I have rarely heard the sound " Your 100 % fit, no more cure or prevention" on a practitioner's office. So don't be panic about a distance from a doctor. try to be natural and visit doctor only when no more option.

well, i didn't encounter anything who says anybody is a hundred percent free. we may not feel a symptom yet, but there is an impending illness inside the body somewhere. the idea of a check-up is to prevent, or at least to minimize, that illness to surface. point is, early diagnosis may be a cure. however, what you are saying is that, we have to go see a doctor if it's already a bit late and that the illness has already spread to several parts of the body?
