Fastest mile time during highschool?

I'm currently in my freshman year and just broke 5:00 in the mile (with a 4:58.9). What's your fastest mile time?

Whoa! That is a great time! I never did run all that much- my time back when I was 16 was around the 5:30 mark, I don't recall an exact number, but I am certain I once made it in 5:20. I'm just getting back into running at the moment.

LOL! I think my fastest in high school was about 6:20.. I'm guessing you're a guy? I don't run that short of a distance any more, and it's been at least 14 years since high school. I run about a 24 5K (3.1 miles) and estimated 49-50 10K (6.2 miles).
