I need to your opinion on the best book review from you guys. All this time when I need to search on something about a book I'll go to goodreads too see the people review. Is there any place that I can also rely on for honest reviews? Really appreciate your answer.

Honest reviews....? Since when are reviewers not posting their honest opinion? lol Goodreads is my main book site. I really don't read reviews and even if I do then I ignore them when I'm reading the book. I like deciding for myself what I think of the book. I know that Amazon, Barnes and Noble online, and other book-selling sites also allow reviews to be posted.

lol... Well there are going to be people who love books you hate and give them great reviews all the time. That's not going to change if you switch review sites. Just because you hate it doesn't mean everyone will (and vise versa). People who review books on websites like Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble usually aren't going to lie. There's no reason for them to. They're not getting paid! hahaha...

emmhh I think (it's really my opinion) I don't really trust people's review in goodreads. Often I found when so many of them rated a book 4 star but then I got disappointing because I hate the book... maybe the problem is in me, lol.

I usually read the reviews on Amazon. The reviews are posted by people who have already read the book(s) and people have no compunctions about giving their opinions either good or bad. I've used reviews frequently to judge whether I will purchase or trade for a book. I also belong to a group that swaps books and the reviews there are quite helpful as well. We swap for no fee and only have to pay for the postage to get the book to the new user.
