What will you do if your lover go blind? Will you stop or continue loving her?

In every relationship, lovers promise each other everlasting love, one which is for better for worse,for richer for poorer now let me ask you, if you have a girl you have promised an everlasting love, will u not love her anymore if she go blind or will your love for her remain like you have promised? Be sincere in your answer.

Hello Hamteez and a warm welcome to myLot. Absolutely I would stay with my boyfriend if heaven forbid he were to go blind. I am with him because I love him and not for what he can see and or do for me. A thought that comes to mind is that he will always have a memory of what I looked like before he went blind. I live with my boyfriend now for almost 6 years, therefore to a sense we have committed to one another that handicaps will not interfere with the love we have for one another. Besides I love him for who he is not because he can see me.

Awwh I would be sadden to hear that a person, female and or male would actually break up with someone they love only because he/she became blind. That would be truly heart breaking.

Did you love the person because of his/her outer appearance alone that if a physical part is altered, you won't be able to love him/her any longer? My answer to the question I raised is NO, therefore, my answer to your question is "I WILL CONTINUE TO LOVE HER."

I wouldn't stop loving someone if they went blind. And, I can't imagine that anyone who really loved someone would fall out of love because of something like that. If you only love them for their sight, you don't really love them. I don't think it would be the least bit hard for anyone to answer that they'd keep loving her sincerely. Honestly, is there anyone who wouldn't be able to answer that they'd keep loving her?
