I've just found out that losing weight is easy

Life is what me make it. What we eat is what we get as they said. To loss weight, we needed self control and discipline. Losing weight is like withdrawing from our vices e.i. smoking, beverages etc. FYI.. Know what? for just 4 days i lost 2.2 lbs. I swear, NO SNACKS BETWEEN MEALS, LIGHT MEALS FOR DINNER, LESS FAT AND MORE FIBER together with simple physical activity like walking are very effective methods of losing weight.Just try what I did so you'll experience what is the feeling of being light, with no regrets after eating your favorite foods. SELF CONTROL IS NEED. GOOD DAY! LENI

I wish my mother could do this. She is over weight and they put her back on steroids for her luns and boy does she eat. I am eating salad and after this I will eat an apple. I need to get 6 more pounds lower. I lost over 100 already.

Side effects of steroids are weight gain, depressed immune systems and the like. Physicians usually prescribe corticosteroids to individuals with asthma. Hmm, and in the case of your mom, I think she should ask her physician first before she do sorts of dieting and exercise. I think everybody has the right to be healthy and stay fit. I hope all of us could benefit on my discussion started. By the way, your diet is awesome I wish I could loss more weight too!

Absolutely right! Like withdrawing from any vices, everything must be gradual to prevent withdrawal symptoms. We need to keep in mind that everything follows a step. Step by step process is tantamount to good outcome. Sudden change on the diet results in waste of time and could possibly lead to eating disorders.

Hi leni Welcome to mylot, if we want to lose weight we must control our basic urge to eat, i mean control the tongue, have you ever tried the yogic breathing exersise taught by Ramdev Baba of india, it sets ones weight at right level, if you are over weight you lose, if underweight you can, try this.. Self control and exercise also have the advantage of being ABSOLUTELY free! You can also find out what your food contains, what makes a healthy diet and how many calories you need by searching the Internet. There is totally NO NEED to spend money on expensive 'weight loss programs', pills or medications because, for most people, it is just a matter of knowledge and common sense. Of course, I am not referring to those who have glandular problems, eating disorders or who, for one reason or another, cannot get normal exercise. The first thing anyone who wants or needs to lose weight should do is to talk to their doctor who should advise on what needs to be done and diagnose any medical condition there might be and prescribe accordingly.

Indeed, determination , discipline and self control are the secret to losing weight. We just have to have a mind set of eating just in moderation. I do find myself losing some poundage, whenever i religiously do my 3x a week, 1 hour exercise. In addition, i lessen my rice intake, specially at night. Furthermore, at the office i would always walk around the mall just to get to the comfort room. I take the stairs instead of the escalator.

well i dont need to lose weight and yes i agree with you that if you eat the right food, (not necessarily low fat) and exercise then yes it helps to lose or manage your weight, but you would have to keep it up and im sure you can treat yourself to the chocolate and treats we all like as long as its not too much and enough to satisfy you, and well done for the weight loss.

Yes I totally agree with you. Walking is all I need to lose weight too and the eat less rule. Too bad I have less self control these days, keep thinking about eating!!

yess you are correct and more said the better , when you are over weight it is a bad reputation not just for yourself but also for the family and everyone else. this is not what you have wanted getting rid of the fat is way o easy if you are able to take control of the things that you do on a daily basis and also what you eat and what you not.
