Have you watched the movie entitled: "Silence of the Lambs"? There is a character portrayed by Anthony Hopkins named Hannibal Lectern, he is a genius ex-medical student and a sociopath cannibal. Understanding the character Hannibal can be seen on the movies entitled: Hannibal and Red Dragon (but if you don't have the guts to watch don't bother watching if you are really that weak). While watching those movies I became really fascinated and interested in how the mind of Hannibal works and wonder if there are movie characters more powerful than the mind of Hannibal Lectern. I mean he kills people naturally like how I dispose my garbages naturally. So, if you know a character more interesting than Hannibal don't hesitate to post for it will be well appreciated.

Anthony Hopkins was perfect as Hannibal Lecter. It suits him perfectly! Lecter is also a genius. This character, I believe, was based on Ed Gein. Really interesting guy, you should check him out too. There's also a movie about him (Ed Gein).

Yes, Hannibal was one great movie character. I really enjoyed watching all of the films involving this character. Anthony Hopkins was really great in this role. If you like these type of movies, then you might want to check out another movie called "Seven" This movie is about another mastermind type of serial killer played by another famous actor. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hannibal lecter is certainly an interesting character, but the thing is that he, and the other killers in the silence of the lambs films are all modelled on real life killers. Buffalo Bill's character for example is based on 6 real life prolific serial killers.

Yeah, he was paterned to a real life killer. I watched this documentary on the greatest killers/murderes of all time in a cable network and I've seen similarities in their behavior. They have indeed eccentric interesting behavior but we would not want to meet them personally.
