i've heard about this a lot of times already.. that one can predict the future just by interpreting ones dreams.. just like when you dream if a snake, they say that t means money.. i have not really tried this one and i don't know if i have to believe this or not.. can dream really predict ones future?.. have you actually tried to interpret your dream? :)

If only we could interpret our dreams, but we are not "Joseph" from the Bible. Most of the time when I wake up, I tend to forget about my dreams, because it seems to fade away the more I want to recall it.

Yea, if we want to recall the things that we did yesterday, it seems easy to think back. But when it comes to dreams, it is totally the opposite. It's like it deliberately won't let us remember it at all.

I don't actually believe in that, but it won't hurt if I do right? I have a dream last month which I saw this number "51111" I don't know what it means, I'm guessing if it's a combination number to a lottery or what, the only I can think of is, it is a date, 5-11-11 which will be next month. I'm not a believer of this predicting dreams or what ever you call it, but instead of doing nothing, I wanna make sure that nothing bad happens to me that time. I don't see it as uhh.. like "good" thing will happen, I also look for, what if it is bad? so there. ^_~ uhh.. about what you said, a snake means money? that's awkward. I thought if you ever see a snake in your dreams that means badluck. hmm? I've got this friend of mine, his brother dreamed about snake on his arms, then few days after, he bailed on skateboard and broke his arm. so I think of it as a badluck. ^__^ anyways. No one can see future, that's what I believe in. ^_^ Happy mylotting friend.

sometimes dreams are just dreams, period.. but like you said it wouldn't hurt if we believe in those things.. and yes, nothing's really certain when we talk about the things in the future.. good luck on 5-11-11.. LOL

Dear friend, It was long when my grandmother would say what would happen if we narrate the dreams clearly. At times some dreams do not have intention it would just our own imaginary. But from experience there are dreams with certain purpose which could predict and even save us.

we even have this belief here in our country that if you ever dream of losing your tooth, it means that one of your loved ones will die.. in order for that not to happen, the one who dreamt it should bite into a live tree.. how weird could that be? LOL

Hi ofabiana, Illogical, nonsense, irrelevant, and put what you want to if you hear any body telling you that your dreams predict your future. No. This is totally misleading. Those who believe such things are either ill informed or weak hearted. This is not my experiment. But of the psychologists like Sigmund Freud, Carl Yung and even the very modern authors hold that dreams are nothing but the reflection of your suppressed feelings or wish. They go down the subconscious or even unconscious mind and in the dream we realize them as if they were real and happening in the conscious mind. Most of them come in image or symbols. Do not worry. your dreams do not predict your future.

i've also read about that theory.. that dreams are just what your subconscious mind is thinking.. and that theory is on the scientific view which for me has also a base.. thank you for that.. :)

i had dreams that were really vivid as if i was really there only to wake up realizing it ain't true... but dejavu, some of my dreams come true, fragments of it though... about prediction, i think it is a bad idea as it would only cause confusion and anxiety if it's a bad dream.. que sera, sera my friend..

Im sorry but i dont really think dreams can predict one's future. Ive read that dreams are produced during what experts call Rapid Eye Movement or r.e.m. It is the phase that you just have fallen asleep or about to wake up. It means that we are aware of it, we can affect our dreams from what we were thinking or wishing before we fall to sleep and we can even control the result of our dreams. Thus it is not a reliable way to predict our future.

i somewhat agree with you.. just like when i was thinking too much of something (e.g. money) i will mostly dream about that when i sleep.. LOL

I have. I have tried to interpret my dreams, i an fascinated with my dreams and often wish i can remember clothe details an interpret them accurately. In the bible Joseph the dreamer was able to do this right, i guess that its a great way to not only determine our future but also be able to use our dreams in preparation of this future, a warning for us.

When I was in HS I was addicted to trying to figure this out. I had some books and not to mention the internet for a source of knowledge. I dont think it ever predicted anything, but was fun. I have had strange dreams, still do. I remember my dreams really well. So all in all I think its fun, but wouldnt past someone to actually dream of something that happens.
