Getting invited to Wills and Kates wedding?

I don't understand why the whole family doesn't get invited, in that I mean their relatives and people that they know well. Maybe it's just the media will the papers who are misrepresenting them but the impression that I'm getting is that the wedding is also inviting people who have a business relationship with the Royal family such as David Beckham. It's fine if they're really good friends but it just feels like some sort of business arrangements, that they're using the wedding to promote the Royal family rather than it being an occasion for two people being in love...

I got invited, but since I really have no interest in the whole affair, I threw the invitation away. Am I joking?

! Good for you! I think it was meant to be an RSVP invitation, but I think it's also okay just to throw the invitation away!

It's definitely the perfect way to promote the royal family. They are invite to entertain their relation and their friend to keep the relation. It's not always about love for sure

Yes, definitely, it seems like a publicity stunt almost. I really feel sorry for Will and Kate, although both of them will benefit somehow...
