I need to show strength to admit my mylot weakness.

hi aj k welcome to the trolls who must s till be lurking in the woodwork those meanies whose only fun is minusing anyone with 9 or 10 stars, when I was taken down from 10- to a 5 overnight I did contact mylot admins and they did watch and caught two men who worked all one night to minus everything I had ever posted. I go put back up to only an 89 but since I worked up to red and 93 percent and am pretty stable now. I hate it that these cowards sneak around doing this to innocent people here. but look I wish newcomers would not take it wrong when we older ones suggest they run the guidelines and the mylot information as this is meant to help; them not to be some sort of insult. by reading the infor for yourself you get the real version not somethign someone thinks is the rules./si U do not feel I have ever mistreated a newcomer here and I have always said send me a private message if you need help understanding the information as I have been here awhile.I myself never minus anyone if what theywrote is insulting or flaming I just report them to mylot. I plus all in other words for their efforts. Mylot does have a good effect on people as most of us are friendly to new comers and old comers here . while I will not help a newcomer who has already made a discussion that has broken a rule and thus any response f rom me means I lose and the newcomer loses too as we are not paid for deleted discussions and responses but ask to be my friend and thus private message me I will help anyone with any problem about the information that they might have. now thats fair I think. and no I never minused you or anyone else if thats what you were thinking.I am a kind person not a coward.

I totally get where you are coming from. It's hard to understand why people rate you negatively, if you post a decent reply. Some people just rate negative if they disagree with you and that's not right. Try not to worry about it though. You'll get back up there in no time and get your 9 (or even 10!) star back shortly. My first star was purple, I think it was a 3 or 4. I really wanted to keep that one, just for the color lol!

I noticed what was going on with you and I also knew what brought you down. I had told you to go slow. I also said to you earlier somewhere that "there is more here than meets the eye". But you did not listen!. Many of us have gone through this and also thought of giving up but myLot draws you back for reasons best known to it. Glad to see you back here ajk. Do tread cautiously.

I think it is admirable for you to admit you 'lost it' I don't know anyone who has never made a mistake and later regretted it. The difference is what you do next. You chose to apologize and admit you were wrong and for that you are to be congratulated!! Good for you! I think many things affect us as we chat with others. Sometimes it can be we are upset over something, or tired from the stress of the day, or something triggers a past grievance and we lose control. The trick is to make up for it and next time when we feel we may be getting upset, try to take a deep breath and know it's really not worth it. Again..good for you!

Congrats! So the counter jumped to 100 to have a star appear next to your avatar name? What does the 9 mean? Unfortunately, those things aren't spelled out clearly anywhere. The good effect on people - you mentioned, might be due to self-discipline or selr-censorship. Nobody wants to be booted off the forum and miss out on the wonderful experience...............
