Music takes away unwanted stress. It allows u to be in a trance and have a wide imagination and belief. It's relaxing and it helps u to fight unnecessary actions in your life. Love songs - add value to ones life especially if he or she is in love. The more he/she listens to the music the more they're will think and appreciate the person they love. Sad Love Songs- allow you to believe that not only u alone has been broken hearted. there are someone else who's feeling the same way... This type of music takes away some of the unwanted stress u face. Funk songs- Get u in the groove. A healthy way to loosen up your hip and waists. This type of music generates energy. It helps when u r broken hearted too. Rock/ Metallic - Great music and great way to express your anger, instead of doing something stupid when u r heart broken, listen to Rock or adopt the act of listening Heavy or not so heavy metal music. It relieves the mind of all catastrophe running through.

I definitely agree with you. Listening to music is truly magical. It helps you relax after a day's work, keeps problems away from your mind. It can also transport you back in time when you were young and carefree. I specifically love songs from the 70s and 80s. Great era of great songs.

Music has magic. It can definitely relieve stress. In some cases it is use as a theraphy. I heard a friend whos talking about a disabled child, the child's doctor recommends to let the child to listen to music. It will induce the mental development of the child. It also a belief that if a pregnant mom will listen to classical music while carressing her belly, the baby will become smarter.

I totally agree!! Music really helps a lot to make me feel relaxed and less stressful. Whenever I am on my way to work, listening to music can make me feel that my travel time is not as long or tiring as it seems. During work, i also love to listen to music because it makes me feel more focused and i can concentrate better. Whenever i am sad or angry, i also listen to music to vent out my feelings... i think music is one of the best things that life has given to us and praise all the artists who continue to give us good music!

This is particularly true, but there are days when even music wouldn't be enough. Days wherein all you need is a lot of silence and just sleep in order that one could rest his/her eyes and mind from all the stress, waking up refreshed and ready to start the day with newfound strength. But indeed music helps too.

Yes you are absolutely right anjanipac! I think music can release so many emotions and express what could have other wise been left unsaid or maybe you could have never found the words to express the emotion without them. I think music is very dependent on mood and can bring out the best and worst vibes from people, but each persons tastes are different, where the emotion is the same.

I love listening to music especially when I am writing or in a bad mood. Music is so relaxing, depending on the genre. They say that instrumental music is more relaxing than rock/metar. I like to listen to classical music, but I also like Metal. For me they are both relaxing and is something I just can't live without.

I agree. Listening to music (and singing along) is one of the things I do whenever I'm feeling down. But I will also agree with the first responder regarding sad love songs. If you are not presently broken hearted, I guess it's ok. You are right that it will show you you are not alone. But if you are having some... problems of the heart at the moment, tendency is it will only make you cry even more.

Music is great. Was made a study about Mozart's music and the scientists realized that stimulate the brain at 100%. The conclusion is that the Mozart's music is making us smarter so is recommended for everyone especially for children for having greats marks at school. But don't make abuse of it cause listen to much it can stress you. Good to listen for relaxing. ;)

Words make you think a thought. Music makes you feel a feeling. A song makes you feel a thought.Music is more logical than the human mind can comprehend: yet we can recognize it and surrender to it. We cannot comprehend music but music can comprehend us.Music isn't just learning notes and playing them. You learn notes to play to the music of your soul.Music is a fair and glorious gift from God. I am strongly persuaded that after theology there is no art than can be placed on a level with music; for besides theology, music is the only art capable of affording peace and joy of the heart.Music is a discipline, and a mistress of order and good manners, she makes the people milder and gentler, more moral and more reasonable.Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality. That's all I can say about music from my heart. I do listen hindi songs and I love to listen them.

I agree that listening to music totally helps relieve stress! You can either blast it & dance around, (I prefer to do the house cleaning while dancing around) , or also what i do is listen to meditation music before bed. I use an ipod with earphones, breathe deep and listen. I find that not only does it relieve stress, but also clears my head for the next day. With everything going on in the world around us, our brains take in so much information. I find that the music helps keep me grounded & focused! great topic!
