Today i went to the mall with my cousin sis and her boyfriend,her boyfriend got a cal so he left telling us he will be back after half an hour.My cousin is currently looking for job change but didn't tell her boyfriend yet. she wanted to meet a guy who was telling her about a job so i told her talk to your friend till then and i will go to washroom.When i was in the washroom her boyfriend called me up as her phone was unreachable due to low battery, i didn't pick up and after getting out of washroom i called him up.Actually i didn't wanted to let him hear that i am in washroom.I am embarrassed to take call in loo as i think other people might hear the voice of toilet flushing, people sometimes make weird voices. I told my cousin and she said there is nothing like that , the other person can't hear those voices on phone

Haha well, coming from a guy, I actually answer phones all the time when I'm on the toilet. But only with close friends. I don't know about girls but guys are okay with having conversations while doing their business.. It's a "bro" thing so yeah. If you are relatively close with your sister's boyfriend, you shouldn't be embarrassed.

Once my ex-boyfriend called me up at night and he was in his room and then went to washroom , i could figure out the difference in room as voice echos a bit bithroom and also the water sound , i told call me when he gets in his room and we had a small fight about it.Its really gross a guy taking to a girl on phone while being in washroom unless there is a reason like he is hiding from his parents or room mates.

Well, it can be quite awkward when you have to talk to someone sometimes when you are in the bathroom, and even if you are running water washing your hands people might find this awkward and wished you could have waited a little longer to talk to them as well. In your case, I think you did what was best, and hopefully things work out for the Best from here.

I won't take the call also,unless it's a girlfriend or my mom.
but a call from my cousin's boyfriend ...no no...hehehe
It can be heard on the phone while flushing the water..and it's an ewww...

You can hear what is going on on the other end of the phone, especially in a public toilet where it echoes. Maybe not at home you can't tell as much, but it also depends on how big you're bathroom is etc. I do take calls while in the loo, but only if I know the person.

I had the same fear as you. I remember one time I was in the bathroom, at that time, my boyfriend called me, I answered him and talked with him. I stood up and flushed the toilet with my other hand. My boyfriend heard the noisy. He asked me wether I was in the bathroom. Immediately I felt quite embarrased, I told him I was not in the bathroom.
