Hello Lotters, I went to my brother's home today to pick some of the pictures that he compiled in the Compact Disc from the Blessing of our Commercial Space last Eastern Sunday. it was uploaded in facebook, but unfortunately our relatives didn't approve for personal reason. in this regard, we resulted this into another way of sending it to them. basically, through old fashioned Mail. I got the pictures, rode a tricycle and finally a jeep. unfortunately, this driver had some bad days with the traffic enforcers knowing it's hunting season for unlicensed Jeepneys. he kept informing ALL PUJ's about the waiting hunters on the main road. But one thing i noticed and starts to irritate me was He was purposely not going to pay and to think he can get away with i pull over and grimly asked for my change. I feel sorry for him in his experience but my change is a Change I'd never ride on very old style Jeepneys ever again..

Hello Catch, THere's also tendency that people can forget things when they are stressed or currently in their stressful situation, just like what we often experience. we simply have to remind them of the change. but some how, it was obvious that the driver was doing it on purpose because he lost a lot of money from the traffic enforcer.,

I'm so thankful i have my own car now, though its a 2nd hand car that needs a paint job because it looks embarassing (at least I have an own car despite of the fact its fugly) I had encountered many rude Jeepney driver before. During high-school after encountering a rude driver, I becam,e evil and does a lot of 1-2-3, But I felt bad later, so I pay drivers ever since I was 17. I hate it when a driver will smoke while we are in the middle of the ride, did you know theyw ere not allowed to smoke but they keep on doing it... I also experienced a Jeepney driver who doesnt gives back a change, But i tried using my intimidating serial killer looks and sinesterous presence and it kinda worked.

Hello Albert, I think it's really better if you prefer having a second hand not fully painted as new. reminder that Carjacking and killing it's driver is still on the hype. so, it's better off you're car looking ugly rather than looking new and attracts the car jackers.. Oh, yeah never be at the behind of the Jeepney driver because they don't give a damn about you honking as long as they can get their passengers.

It also happens here, but i had my experience with the tricycle drivers here! so i always make it a point to bring change or coins with me. I even came to some times where i get into an argument with the drivers hahahaha.. tricycle drivers here are relentless they do not follow the supposed to be fare rate of 8 pesos upon seating and 2 pesos per kilometer there after! See? i memorize the fare rate lol but it is useless because they do not understand it and how it should be! they would often charge us with 40 to 50 pesos!! and the distance did not even reach 2 kilometers! So i always make it a point to bring coins and i also learn how to get out of the tricycle fast

Hello Jazel, As for the Tricycle drivers? ithink they can't fool you since you're the only passenger. even if you are three or four, he can't fool you. except when you left you're phone and didn't bother getting it back. unfortunately, we had a thief driver who didn't brought it back, what was more stupid is that my mom didn't bother asking the people there since they knew who took it.we warned her about not the mobile phone, but like any other women, she changes her mind.

I don't recall riding a jeepney, but if it is like a taxi then yes I have. lol I have learned in life that while dealing with money I cannot be spoken to or I will forget my change. So if I was told by a driver I have no change I would say then I guess you do not get paid. lol.. I am sure it would draw a great deal of attention but at the same time I would get my change. heheheI don't recall riding a jeepney, but if it is like a taxi then yes I have. lol I have learned in life that while dealing with money I cannot be spoken to or I will forget my change. Hello hardworkinggurl, I think Americans there are really wise enough to know your change most specially in the BUS or any local transport there because you can easily sue the driver or the company involve in the transport. Public Utility Jeepney mostly exist in my country, the Philippines. unfortunately, now every one is a good and decent drivers, some are like waiting to fill the passengers just to earn way of their living.

Sometimes, i pity some drivers also. They appear to be already so tired yet just have to work harder so they will go over the boundary so they could have their take home pay from it. So i guess, that's why they put off having to get the necessary licenses because they don't have the money yet. As to the change, well a change is a change, so they have have to give it to us .

Hello Simplyd, It's not a joke driving a vehicle that fully relies on Gasoline and then looses a lot of money from filling it alone. not to mention money to Enforcers, repairs, and lack of passengers. licenses are expensive and it's possible you have to do "lagay" just to get the process done in haste.

Hi! We don't exactly knew either he really forgot it or it was his intention to forget your change. He was preoccupied with the traffic enforcers maybe he was anxious cause he might be caught up. But the good thing was you had your change back.

Yes. You know what this happens a lot of times to me too and well, also with the change sometimes they would pretend to think you'd paid them an exact amount and well, we all are trying to make living and we need to ask do our change right. Otherwise they might get used to doing the trick and earn a couple of extra Bucks by not giving back the correct change.

Hello Chiyosan, Well, i can also understand that it's not easy to remember every person's fee while driving and thinking a lot. the worst part is when the person use mobile phone while driving. unfortunately, what his doing is wrong and people will remember you for not doing the right thing.they might not even ride with you any more.

Hello Steph, It's really sick knowing he's got only a few passengers and am not in those tired moments knowing that i stared at him and wait for the change. he could have gone to the gas station and have it changed to coins but he was too stupid to play dumb it's not easy though i know he had a hard time but i can't let him involve me in his bad days.

Hello Sis Jaiho, I wanted to but i don't want being closed down because she would be taking bath if i don't hurry up. not to mention, that if i walked, which is a good exercise and then loose some energy i might not be able to be tough enough to mylot. they always give change to those who have more coins and lesser number bills.

This is one of the drawback when riding jeepneys. That is why I often sit as close to the driver as possible and bring with me loose changes. Some jeepney routes started to implement a system wherein a collector will ask fare payment to each passenger before the jeepney goes but this is good only on short distance routes where the fare price is the same for all riders and also to cross-province short routes like Caloocan going to a nearby Bulacan town .

Hello Greenpeas Well, it doesn't matter if I am close to the driver, i'd make sure that i bring coins to pay the exact fair so that i wouldn't worry myself of what he will do. and you know the one of the worst thing they lost earnings are also barters who thinks they can give a service to the passengers, whereas they are also giving pain to the drivers.jeeps in long distance travel can also be a root to abuse.

Sometimes this is a very lame excuse coming from a jeepney driver. At times, they act as if they are really mad and would mumble words to and fro. When its your time to take back your change, they'll insist of returning it already to you when in fact they haven't. I was once a victim of this scam but sometimes I would just extend my understanding and patience with the drivers. It is not easy to be driving a public utility vehicle on a hot, fiery day. Nevertheless, drivers should learn honesty, likewise, we, the passengers must also learn to do our share because whether we admit it or not, there are those who would skip and jump out the jeepney without even paying the fare (poor drivers).

Hello Rokudaime, If only the government took seriously on some alternate fuel or energy source for the drivers. just like the hydro proposed power in vehicles or the electric vehicles that uses battery as the new energy source. unfortunately, if we all go for electric, Meralco and other power corporations cost will likely go up again

Yeah some drivers tend to do that i dont know if its intentionally or not. Sometimes theyd cut the change saying that theres a fare increase but its scheduled next day lol! I think those drivers will do anything just to meet their quota for the day.

Hello chocokreme , Some just forget how much the passenger paid because they put their attention on the road. that's why am more confident if the driver has some one taking care of the fair or their wives come along with them and takes care of the fair.. I can't blame them, with the rise of OIL and other expenses? with their families being hungry every day, who wouldn't not do such a thing, unless they are single.
