I Love estate Sales!

Every time I see a sign for an estate sale, I try to make time to stop by and see what might be available. Last week I found a really cute Christmas decoration--a mountain that has a sled run, with penguins and snowmen sliding down. It lights up and plays the Blue Danube waltz music.
Do you visit estate sales? Found any good items?

I love going and seeing what I can find. I like to look for old quilts, material, yarns, furniture. I like to remake old patterns so hand made crochet, knit,beaded or quilted items are a must for me. I have a fascination with rocking chairs and love to redo other little tidbits. I just re did an old sewing box I picked up for $7. I had it out at dance class the other night (I am keeping my knitting in it and was working on socks at class) and someone offered me $40 for it. Normally I would have sold it especially with Hubby out of work but this one was really unique and I really really love this one

My friend and I love to go to flea markets as well. We dig around and have more fun being on the hunt then anything else!

I love Garage Sales, Estate Sales, for that matter any kind of sale is good for me!! L.O.L. I have found so many good things at Garage Sales!!Last weekend I got like 10 or new shirts not ever worn with the tags still on them for$7.00 can't beat that!! Sounds like you got a good deal too!! If the weather is nice I want to go again.
