Osama Bin Laden, dead! Is it a good news or a bad one?

Hello my fellow mylotters! There's this Osama fever going on today so I would like to bring this up. I know that everyone might think how stupid this question is but I would just like to ask from a different perspective. Knowing that the famous, bad, or even worst terrorist is now dead, it would be a sort of a good news. (But I don't think death is a happy news) Still, there are these things that bother me. Though their leader might be gone, it could mean that they might all split up and that's the end of their history or, the worst thing the might do is to take revenge for their fallen leader and be the meanest or worst terrorist group ever. They might do more damage than they have done before. That really scares me. How about you, what is your opinion regarding this. I would like to hear from you. Happy mylotting!

We can not claim it is good news unless terrorism ends.

I agree to your statement. Nothing is good news as long as terrorist continues.

This statement is very true and i am glad that some other people are shoeing their support to stop terrorism. it's not at all about who is right or wrong or what side of the debate you are on it is about war and terrorism ending and peace at last for our world. there is no need to fight like we do.

terrorists were planning on attacking whether bin laden was killed or not. yeah it angers the terrorists more for sure, but no its NOT a bad thing that he was killed. Justice has been served.

I already readed somewhere that it's a fake picture. But i think that it will be bad news for USA because now the terrorist want to payback to USA for killing Bin Laden. But i think that Bin Laden is still alive and USA caught him long time ago and gave him new identy. USA didnt kill him because that will make a big scandale and thats why they gave him new identy.

Do you really think the USA would do something like that? To a man who was responsible for killing thousands of people? You have a warped way of thinking

I don't understand your theory. If they were to kill him, how would it cause scandal? Because, if rumor is correct, American troups killed him, yet there is no scandal (except, of course, attempting to properly identify the body). And, with such a hated enemy, why would the US give him a new identity? If they had captured him alive, he would be put to trial.

Fine, the ten year long fugitive has been killed. What about his followers, Relatives and friends. Think about those with his ideology, it seems to me they have killed the leader not the organisation. Honestly this is not the end of terrorism. No one can predict what next, but we shall keep our fingers crossed.

Anytime we are able to capture or kill any mass terrorist as bin laden certainly was, this could only be good news.I think many people are forgetting the power and influence this man held in the Middle East. Besides being the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, bin laden is responsible for thousands of terrorist attacks and murders, including Muslims. The fact that this man survived for as long as he has was a slap in the face to families of the 9/11 victims and all who have lost their lives due to his actions and to be afraid of bin laden supporters,is to give into the kind of fear these terrorist groups are looking for. These people will look for any excuse to do their evil deeds and even no excuse is fine with them, so, killing bin laden, although it may anger them will enable them to hate us no less than they already do.

It is no doubt a good news. But as his followers may try to take revenge which may be very fatal for mankind because some apprehend of atomic explosion, we should have to be very careful and vigil during this crucial moment.

I share the same sentiments as you. But we can only hope that this news will serve to discourage terrorist attacks. Let us hope that it will scare off other terrorists.
