how to write for triond??

i just started out with triond. i've already submitted three articles and all of them were declined. i really wanted to have an extra income but i can't seem to crack triond. i've submitted product reviews and lists of gifts for christening. i don't really know what they're looking for.

Greetings. I write articles for Triond. Usually, at least in the past, they would give a reason why an article is declined. You should find that under your content tab in the menu item titled "declined."
Here's an example of what I got one time:
You have already submitted this item to Triond. If this was unintentional on your part, don't worry - your first submission is currently being processed. If you wish to upload a new content item, make sure that the item you are submitting contains the correct, unique content and try again. If you were asked to revise your content, make sure that you revise the item from the Revisions tab. Do not create a new content item.
Go to you account and see if they left a comment under content declined.

I'll second that. I've never used Triond but EVERY online article directory should give reasons for refusal. (Just got one from Constant Content, 'cos I stupidly capitalised an expression, doh!)
If they don't, get in touch with admin. And if admin won't talk, then maybe you should be publishing somewhere with better service.

well, i'm not sure about what's wrong with my article.. it's actually original. And because i was so disappointed, i gave my article to factoidz and they immediately published my article. based on what i've read about the two sites, factoidz is stricter when accepting articles than triond. so i keep on wondering why triond rejected my article.

Hi there and welcome to myLot.
I write for Triond and they pretty much accept anything there. True recently they are getting stricter on grammatical errors as in the past they were not so strict. In the past I could see a great many articles with grammar errors and grammatical sequence errors, in which I could not understand how they allowed this.
It has been about a year they have been sprucing this up. Because of the contests they have been creating many members were publishing for the sake of just getting the numbers in. As the responder in box one suggested go to the content tab under decline and it will explain it there. They usually send an email too about the reasoning.
The things that they decline are grammar errors, grammatical sequence errors and plagiarizing.
Outside of that there pretty much accept just about anything. You can also go to the getsatisfaction.com website, which is Triond support and you can sign up there and ask, making sure to leave your pen-name and support there has always been helpful.
Best of luck and do try and find the reason because it might be something you can correct.

I don't understand how Factoidz can publish something that Triond which is a much less rigid website, had rejected. Factoidz is known to be very strict and wouldn't just publish anything. I've had two articles rejected by Factoidz. And I published both of them on Triond which immediately published the two rejected articles.
And further, Factoidz isn't a website where a writer can truly earn passive income. I published two articles in March and I got paid on April 1st. But in April, I didn't publish anything because I was so busy with other things. On the site, my two articles are earning money but I didn't receive any payment on May 1st. I suppose you need to be active every month in order to be paid by Factoidz. So I deduce that Factoidz isn't a website where writers can truly earn passive income.

I agree with what hardworkinggurl says--Triond pretty much publishes every thing, as long as it is legible and not someone else's. But now that your article has been published by factoid, you shouldn't submit it to Triond--you must publish there first. Good luck!

I suffered from the same problems that you have mentioned and 6 of my articles were declined in a row. It occured automatically and within 2 minutes of submitting them to Triond. It was so discouraging.
After some time, I was advised to report this problem at getsatisfaction forums. I logged in with my facebook id and I searched for Triond and I reported my problem with my Triond pen name. Within 8 hours my article was accepted and published and I was given a response in the getsatisfaction forums.
I think you should try that. Add me as a friend at Triond @GoldenAsh. I will be delighted.
