Could Boys have a best friend as a girl or girl have a best friend as boy ?

I have seen many boys having best friendship as boys and Girls having best Friendship with girls.Do you know any boy having a best friend as girl not for love or any girl having a best friend as boy not for love.

Yes, there are still few out there. Me, I also got a bestfriend in my opposite gender. We are just friends and nothing is intimate between the two of us. I also got a girl bestfriend. We just treat each others like real sisters and brothers.
