hi i have a question to the mylotters , can anyone being in India open an savings account in the Us Banks., what documents would they need, will it require any processes.Does that happen , is there a chance for such thing ?. Will paypal documents be sufficient for us banks as paypal is worldwide and as paypal recognizes us with documents we provided will us banks accept paypal account of ours a valid and genuine one for us to open an account in a bank of us.

Not so sure about opening a bank account overseas. But I do now that residents here, need an identification and a SSN number.
