Border Patrol agents have told dozens of law enforcement officers to stop arresting illegal immigrants crossing into the U.S. from Mexico, an Arizona sheriff has claimed
Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever claims the order was issued to reduce official figures on the number of apprehensions at the border.
He said agents have instead told him and other law enforcement officers to chase the immigrants back towards Mexico.
He claims has been 'flooded' with emails supporting his accusations.
The revelations come just a few weeks after Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano cited the lower arrest rates as evidence of a more secure border.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner Alan Bersin even said: 'The border is more secure than it has ever been.'
Sheriff Dever first made the claims to Fox News earlier this month, saying several Border Patrol officials - including at least one senior supervisor - told him they had been ordered to turn immigrants 'Back South' (TBS) rather than arresting them.
But according to the sheriff, he has received more than 100 emails from law enforcement officials supporting his claims since the report was published.

They claim they have first-hand knowledge of the Border Patrol's alleged strategy of turning immigrants back to keep arrest figures down.
One San Diego border agent told him: 'Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to "TBS" the aliens instead of catching them.

What is it with Obama's love affair with Illegal Immigrants!! He cares more about their welfare that our own American Citizens. Will the day ever come when we will have a trustworthy government. When is enough enough???

BTW there are many other links to this information but as so many Obama supporters do not believe American sources I chose a British newspaper that Obama does not have in his pocket or intimidate!

Well, I can attest to a few things for sure. First, law enforcement agencies absolutely DO manipulate their statistics to show whatever they want them to show. If they want to show crime rates are down, no problem. You want to show just the opposite, that crime rates are rising? No problem. Just change the way you write things up.
Secondly, federal agencies do NOT want to deal with illegal immigrants, even when they are arrested for other reasons. Especially if it's only one or two of them. If it's not a boatload, it's not enough for headlines, so they won't bother to even show up. Your lucky if they even take the phone call.
Having worked in government, I can tell you that the bigger the agency gets, the more inefficient, wasteful and useless it becomes. And guess who has the biggest agencies around. The federal government. Let's see, we have INS, no wait, I think that became USCIS or did they just add that one? I don't know. Then we also have ICE and Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection... Which one handles illegals? NONE of them! They're all worthless...

Thank you for your response. I am glad someone can verify it first hand.
Just like a few days ago the news...BIG Letters...244,000 new jobs added.....tiny letters but the unemployment increased to 9%. The government seems to forget there are some intelligent people around who can read and add!

When I lived in AZ, our sheriff was very frustrated with ICE. He would catch a van full of illegals, call ICE and be told they were busy and he should let them go. This happened many times that we heard of, can you imagine how many times it actually happened? This has been going on for years.
A couple years back a soldier was killed in his own front yard by an illegal immigrant in Phoenix. The media tried to hide the fact that he was illegal, as they routinely do. I never heard what happened to the murderer but I'm sure he is either free or got a very light sentence. You'll rarely hear the media in Phoenix admit that a criminal is an illegal.

From what I understand, the Cloward Pivens Strategy touched on this. Destroy border security.
As for British papers not being in Obama's hip pocket, they're in the same hip pocket HE's in. It isn't just us that is slated for becoming part of the NWO, they're just a little further down the path.

Well, I do have to admit that chasing them back across the border is a lot less costly than arresting and deporting them.
The problem with Obama and other Presidents when it comes to illegal Hispanics, is that they are lumping them all together as being pro illegal immigration.
Actually, the Hispanic community is split into two groups on this topic.
You have one group who came here legally or were born here 2nd, 3rd, or further generations back. This group wants illegal immigration stopped. It makes them look bad and gives them a bad reputation which they do not deserve.
The group that is pro illegal immigration is made up of people who have relatives that they are trying to get into this country illegally and people who came here illegally and took advantage of previous amnesties to become citizens.
Obama and other presidents have only been listening to the second group because they are more vocal.
To keep the federal government from changing course and becoming lax in enforcing our laws WE all have to be very vocal and constantly on watch.
I personally don't care if they keep chasing them back across the border or arrest them and send them there as long as they DO keep cutting back on how many are coming into our country. Until the border is SECURE we cannot make any changes to standing immigration policy. Only when we have stopped the flow of illegal immigrants into this country can we go on to the next step and decide what to do with illegal immigrants that are still here and decide if we need to increase of decrease legal immigration.

They need to be captured and investigated for terrorist ties. Every last one of them. This article cites many instances of suspected terrorists who have attempted to enter the country through our southern border with Mexico.

We have an enemy who will stop at nothing to kill us. Would you prefer another 9/11?
We spend money on frivolous things to the tune of millions, if not billions.
To allow just anyone into our country when the intelligence is there showing terrorists are getting in via our SOUTHERN or NORTHERN border is just plain wrong. When our government is saying...just chase them back to Mexico (and allow them to try again) it is comparable to asking for another 9/11 to happen. Especially now that we've killed bin Laden and the threat is heightened. I am for bringing our troops home and stationing them at the borders. That would solve the problem, we're paying them anyway. And ONLY those who have applied for visas and been vetted allowed in. Am I being paranoid? Its not paranoia when the threat is REAL.
As for your condesending remark about camps, I would say that you really don't know me and you're attempting to make me sound like something I'm not.

I just found out...yeah, sometimes I am a little slow....that it is the law that we Have to educate the brats of illegal immigrants in our public schools....They breed like bunny rabbits...no wonder our schools are failing from lack of funds.
What the hell! I mean, that is just saying Ya'll come back now ya'hear. We're so glad you're here we're gonna give your brats the best we got....Damn. When was that law passed and who did it or was it another Hussein special exception...
You go Arizona...arrest everyone of those illegals...and may Fl. have the guts to do the same...

I see red when I see how we cater to illegal immigrants. I came into the USA 34 years ago legally. Prior to then I was employed by the US Airforce for 4 years in Libya, North Africa, then employed by the US Army in Germany for 9 years, plus had been married to an American citizen for 8 years before getting my green card and entering the USA legally. Paid taxes and became a citizen. I did not get any special privileges or shortcuts to my citizenship because of my prior employment with the US government. I could spit nails when I see what benefits Ibn Barack Hussein Obama gives these criminals while they wait to get blanket amnesty from the usurper!!!1 person likes this

I believe it, having lived in the Southwest myself for nearly 30 years. They are doing this, I'm sure, because of the Latino vote and may even have plans to grant amnesty--and voting rights--to the millions of illegals already here. That would insure a re-election.
I hope that when the next attack comes, they can track it to the Mexican border. Then they can sue these people for criminal neglect and any other charge the law allows when thousands or millions more of our people are murdered.
And by the way, it's not only Obama, it's been this way for decades. It's time to plug our porous borders--bring our military home and put them on the border. It'd protect us (which is the main function of our government as outlined in the Constitution) and would give the economy a boost.
