I am me and I know I have many faults and am
not prefect in any way. I am neither a bad
person I make mistakes in this life. I know
that and realize that all of us are different
in many ways. No two people think exactly
alike unless maybe they are identical twins.
I had a brother that was my twin and we wasn't
exactly alike but we could finish what the
other was talking about. But we were still
different in many ways. I am just what God
wanted in me though. How do I know that
because God only created us because HE thought
it was a good thing. I don't try to judge
people I do have spiritual decrement and
if I get a bad feeling about someone I move
on and don't waste my time. There are many of
us in this world that don't think of anything
but respect for our fellow human beings.
But sometimes we all slip. I love this site
but I don't like rating the discussions. I feel
like this is saying because someone didn't
agree with what someone says they rate the response
or discussion negatively. And for this reason
who ever didn't agree with something someone
says we judge that person for being on a
different level. What do you think? Do you
like rating every discussion and or response?
What do you do when you don't agree with
what was said? Do you rate it negatively?
Or do you just not rate it for fear of hurting
someone's feelings?

I very rarely rate discussions. The main reason for this (and I am being honest here) is that I genuinely FORGET, simple as that. Also, I wouldn't want to become obsessed with the rating system. I know it affects us all if we don't rate but, personally, I really don't care. I have seen far too many people on here be affected by negative ratings and that, in particular, should be banned in my view. Only rate positively..or not at all.
You get people doing the tactical rating if they don't like a particular person and I disagree with that too. It's unfair, unnecessary and my feeling is..if you don't like their discussions stay away from them. This is what I tend to do.
I'd rather not rate at all than be a part of the rating system but, like I said, I forget to rate anyway, so I'm not going to let it bother me.
Perhaps I should but I refuse to get paranoid about it.
You do what you feel is best and it looks good to me my friend.

Thanks Janey. I am like you I usually don't rate anyone unless they are responding to me. I don't care who it is I always rate a + I think we all are just like God wanted us. If I don't think I can give a + I just plain don't rate it. If I don't understand what the responder was meaning I ask them what they meant or I say I don't understand what you meant. I am not paranoid about it either but I don't understand why anyone could give a - to anyone. Thanks you my friend.

I think we should be rated to some extent. However, we should be judged on our thought on a subject. As you said, we all have our own mines and thought. People will not always agree with us. That is there choice. I also believe things get taken out of context sometimes which cause an uproar. But we are all adults and should get over it and move on. Hold no grudge this is a fun site and we all could loosen up once in awhile.

Hi Sswallace. I love your response. I think if everyone would stop getting so off the right track and stick to the fact that this is a discussion board and we are here to discuss things that are on our minds. And doing so means we are getting everyone's opinion's and let's all face it we are all from different backgrounds nation's race's and religion's. So we are not all going to agree on everything! And let's keep this site a fun place to come and discuss everything and anything that is important to the original poster. Thanks my friend for sharing your thoughts!
