First, we did not eat pork because it was rumored they are sick "blue ear pig. " Next, we did not eat fishes which are caught offshore for fear that they were radioactive. After that, we did not eat watermelon because it was rumored that a family died after eating them. Today, I read the newspaper and learned that it is all rumors! Thus, ended a series on worry life, ha ha ... However, in time, many people sell fish, meat and watermelon was very heavily damaged. It's poor them!

When the swine flu was a round, I heard the rumor people really could get swine flu from pigs! Not and it is funny some people thought that! Rumors are all the place and in life! Most rumors are so not true! Sometimes people start rumors to get people back and to get the attention! Some rumors are weird. Some are vicious. Some are stupid! Rumors can be laughable! I have learned, especially at work, rumors are rumors! Don't believe everything you hear! It is that simple!

Like everything in life when rumors start many have a tendency to believe so they will follow what the hot topics of the day says. I am one though that when it comes to food whether true or not I usually do not risk and eating different items until the food can be proven to be okay or not.

I have heard good and bad stories about all kinds of food. We like to grow our own if at all possible so we know if it is good or not.

There are always rumors about foods. You don't know which are true and which are false. In most cases, it is probably best to avoid eating that food for awhile. The latest one I have heard is about grape tomatoes. I eat a lot of salads and like those tomatoes the best, but I won't be buying them for awhile.

I think that there are some real rumors before. So, people took unfair advantage to get benefits from them.

Well, it's better to avoid them, if a rumor runs about them. If they said that we should avoid eating pork and fish then do so and just eat , chicken and beef or vegetables. Not to eat watermelon, then just eat other fruits instead. It's better to be safe than sorry.

We should be careful more than not. Right? But these rumors really make us feel confuse and worry. This is not good for all people.

a confusing rumors :-$ All that I learn about that kind of rumor is that : be careful to choose any kind of food ( don't have to avoid that, but just be more selected ), own cooks is better, and less instant food. I always believe that own cook has better quality

You're right. We should cook at home instead of going out restaurants.

Whew! I know how you feel! We also have a lot of encounters with rumors that just made us go crazy of what to eat and what not to eat. Perhaps sometimes it's better if we just try to filter out the news to only those with valid sources - the authorities or organizations belonging in those fields.

Right. But I realize that announcements from appropriate authorities are very slow, after the problems occur for a long time.

Rumors are a horrible thing. i think its ppl wanting their thoughts to be the right ones and wanting everyone to do what they do. A easier way than pushing your life on someone else, scare them into it.
