Do you have a dream Job that you are building your career around, right now? What is your dream Job and qualifications, steps you need to take to get there... Or is your dream Job something that is quite unrealistic, just like the thought of it? Im not sure i have a dream Job exactly i dream to be a great mother to my son and continue working for whatever extra money i can make and always moving upwards never backwards is the key to success. What are your views?

Dream job for me would be working for myself, own an aquatic repair shop for boards in san diego. Be able to do what I want when I want to do it and working on the seaside would be amazing.if I ever want to move I'll be able to go any where a boat can go. What's better than that?

That sounds like a great plan! My Ex was a real sea lover and all outdoorsy things helps to appreciate the finer things in life, when you take the hussle and sussle away!! I know about that living on the Australian coast.

So true. Nature is one of the most complex but most beautiful and calming things I've ever known.the ocean is just one of the many wonders. But the waves are calming enough I figure I could do anything and feel at peace. That's why I want to work on the ocean or at least near it's and if I want a break its a whole lot of, lets go for a quick swim. I get my dream job with the best exercise I can get anyone I want it. Well as long as I fix the boats that come in that is. :p lol

The sea is dangerous and to be treated with respect as it can be as ruthless as it is beautiful... but i don't want to discourage you at all, Your ambitious and i still think its a dream job. Money for nothing if you enjoy it. Goodluck on your journey! Take care sailor!

My dream job is to not have to have a job, ha! Actually, I dream of being able to make enough money online to not have to work otherwise. I'm working hard at achieving that goal. I think I just need to work smarter. I am currently concentrating on achieving that goal through my activity at Squidoo and my shops at "abitosunshine" shops at Cafepress and Zazzle, one creation at a time.

My big dream is to have a job. I have been living in Austria since 1993 and in that time I have not been able to get a job at all, mainly because of the language problem. Jobs for me are a thing of the past, but thank goodness I have a computer to keep me busy and entertained. I am looking forward to 2012 when I will go to Australia, where they speak English, what a luxury!

goodluck with your dreams to move to Australia. I think being bi-libgal is a great quality and think you should do you best to try and learn the language while you are there. ou never know when this could come in handy and translators in every tongue are always being required for temp obs. Of course your qualifications may far outseed this type of work, and i mean no offence if i have caued you any. I was just making a suggestion.

I am living my dream job right now. It sounds a little bit corny but my dream job was to be a stay at home mom. And that is exactly what I am. I am a stay at home mom and I take care of my 2 beautiful girls, while my husband works. We have been very fortunate that I am able to stay and I love it. I like having a clean house everyday, and having my laundry done. I love not having to take my children to a sitter because I have to work. There are many who aspire to be something big and grand, and to me being a mom is a grand job. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Hi there, yes I have a dream job. I would like to be a medical doctor. I always wanted to help people who are sick however it is impossible now since i have shifted course and i have an ailment that's been making my life hard for years. My first course was a pre-medicine course(Biology) however, i felt that it is not the right course for me since i was feeling real weak and tired that time. i have to stop for two years to rest and only to find out that i have inherited my father's disease. how would i treat other people if i myself have a problem? i hope my sister who is taking up nursing would pursue of becoming a medical doctor someday.

Well maybe there is an opportunity cominmg to you in your life that destiny could not let you miss. You are like me a little lost in what you want to do and where you want to be in 10 years.. .or however many it takes to reach your goals and be truly happy! I think a doctor is a very ambitious title to obtain. I hope you find your spark doing something fabulous, in due time.

Nightmares are also dreams right? Only they are worse than bad dreams. Yes! I have a dream job. A job that keeps me away from my family. A jobt that does not have working hours. A job which couples hard physical work with huge mental tension. It is hard to even imagine that my ambition to be an engineer got me into this terrible mess.. Anyway, on the good side it has always supported me to have a decent life, despite my health issues. And okay I should be thankful and I am.

In terms of career maybe the most prized crown I will get is being a famous musician in my own right. Actually I am just a simple musician burdened by practicality that is why I am working in 2 different career paths: being a CSR 5 days a week and as a cover musician in a band every Saturday night. I have accepted one fact that music alone cannot sustain my needs unless I will become a prized artist. But I am still optimistic about the situation: just reserving enough funds to materialze my projects.

My dream job is to be the CEO of my own telecommunications company. I am an engineering student, and yes, I dream big. I want to have my own cellphone-manufacturing company too. It seems almost impossible, but in reality, it isn't.

Nothing is impossible, you should set out to acheive your goals and make the small steps that you can to work towards a bigger goal. There are people who CEO these companies why cant that be you? Good luck.

I don't have a dream job exactly. If we're talking total fantasy, my dream would be to own/run a conservation based safari park, but maybe we should stick to something a little more realistic? lol. Until recently, I was on a psychology course, which I enjoyed but didn't love. I've loved animals since I was little, but I'm too squeamish to be a vet, so I gave up my dream of working with them. Since then, I decided that it was worth taking the risk, even without a career plan in mind (it was terrifying!) so I've swapped to a Zoology with Animal Behaviour degree. I don't know what I'm going to do with it eventually. I also love writing so I've been developing my writing experience and hopefully I'll find some way to link the two. No matter what though, I want to work with animals, and I know that I feel more fulfilled with that dream in mind than when I had a fixed clinical psychology career plan in mind!

That what i mean the other job the psychology wouldhave brought in alot of money but not necessarily fulfilled your life or made you happy! I think you have done the right thing switching at the last minute to follow your heart! I think thats such a ambitious choice and would be a very interesting career, that most would envy! I hope there is someway for you to use your ticket tho? Goodluck with your Dream Job!

I got like two dream jobs. First is to be a home - based writer or a manga-writer. I don't like going to the office of waking up early and I don't like going to bed early too, so I really prefer homebased. Second is to own a food business. Actually, it was a shared dream of my boyfriend and I. We want to own a food business, especially that where I can channel my cooking experiments and have people taste it too. I love cooking, by the way.

I presently work in a private firm as an administrative manager. I do like my job because that was what I was trained for at the university. However, if you look into my heart, I would like to tell you that I am not happy working in another person business and then wait for 30 or 31 days to collect my monthly salary. My dream job is to open my own private business and then employer others to work for me. So that I will become the overall boss and director. It will also give me a lot of free time to spend. When one is working for others you do not have the time to spend for yourself. So my dream job is to own my own business so that I can become the overall boss and CEO. Thanks

That's a great dream, i thought i replied to all the responses on this page but i must have missed you, and i do apologise!! I try to get back to everyone who takes the time to repond to my discussions as i am litterally interesed in the ansers and appreciate the time taken to respond, as mylot can be time consuming, when your involved in a few discussions it gets hard to keep up with them all. I hope you reach your goals one day, by the sounds of your response your a hard working individual, which is rare and appreciated amongst the workforce. Goodluck.

We all have a dream job, but its not always about our dream job, but its about what life has to offer you, and what is good for you at that moment, your dream job might not be ur future job, so forget about it and think about the best way for you to go

Yes i agree completely!! I don't expect everyone to be able to get their dream job.. but someone has it and i like to wonder why not? I think everyone needs to turn over an income however they do it but sometimes the jobs we work at aren't the ones that make us happy. What is life without Happiness? Do you have a dream Job? just in your head somewhere... or a few?
