What did you do for Mother's Day?

Yesterday was Mother's Day and it was the first Mother's Day that I celebrated as a mother. My daughter is just under 3 months old, so there wasn't much she could do, but we did go out to dinner and do a bit of shopping because I needed new summer clothes. It was actually a nice day being able to spend with my family. What did you do on Mother's Day?

Aw, being sick is never fun, least of all on a holiday that's supposed to be about you! But it's nice that your daughter helped out. Bet your garden looks better than mine! Lol. It's hard to get a three month old to help pick weeds. She just gets cranky.

Hello, phyrre I am happy to hear that you are new mother and I can say only one Congratulations to your first mother day. Something about me yesterday I and my mother went to my grandmother and celebrated mother day with cake and vine. I haven't give my mother much and something expensive. But, I bought flowers to my mother and she was so happy. I want to make something delicious to my mother tomorrow. Happy Last mother day! ;)

I don't think it takes much to make a mother happy on Mother's Day. Just getting a chance to spend time with family makes most mothers happy, especially if they haven't seen you in a while.

Congratulations! :) That's wonderful. I have a 20-month-old daughter, she didn't know it was Mother's Day obviously. I don't really speak to my own mother, but I sent her a card with my brother. Me and my daughter just went to WalMart, went on a nice walk, and then ate at Taco Bell. Which sounds dumb but we both really love Taco Bell but I don't get it very often so it was a treat. It was a good day, but not too different than any other day lol.

It doesn't sound dumb to me! I've wanted Taco Bell for the longest time since I love their food and I haven't had it in over a year since I'm never around one. Sounds nice, though, to be able to spend that time with your daughter.
