I watch the IPL cricket selectively. The batting exhibition by Sehwag and Chris Gayle is remarkable. Valthaty too has shown similar prowess in the beginning. While Chris Gayle starts the power hitting from the beginning, Sehwag in his classic innings showed his batting power surprisingly after 6 or 8 overs (I do not remember exactly) and losing some good batting partners, and makes his team win. Of course, he could not repeat the feat, that is another matter. The slugging by such players is transforming cricket into a type of American Base Ball game!
